Was watching and listening to some English journos and TV pundits(90s) footballers and I damn near lost it at some of the reactions to Aguero going to Amsterdam for a concert ON HIS DAY OFF.

It's particularly rich coming from some ex-pros who would spend their post training days(not day offs) sniffing coke and getting their drinks in. '
While the players own manager let's it be known that such stuff happens and his players could just as easily get injured around their houses on a day off.

    F*ck##g English media.

Should've done better today against City. Even with Morata's injury.

Kun needed a rest but not 7 GWs into the season, should go to a Concert whenever he likes but take the public transport like any other......for safety.

Feel like city are missing Mendy more than Aguero, really feel that City are their best with these speedy deceptive LB and RB. Guad's system depends on these guys so much....sorry but Delph is not going to cut it.

He took a taxi. I think that's usually preferable to some players driving themselves and getting into trouble.

    Completely agree re. Mendy/Delph Jesus/Kun

I hope they get more injuries in their squad. Damn Chelsea for not taking care of business today!

Jesus, Sterling, Sane can do the scoring job with Silva and KDB assisting. And glad to see KDB heating up again.

Swansea conceded a last-minute goal two games in a row now, nearing bottom of the table. Bet we'll see Clement sacked and Sanches not getting playing time from the new coach.

Ribery, Robben, Hummels, Boateng, Müller back in the starting XI and Martinez as a 6, nice.

Boateng with the assist for Hummels, Ancelotti faints.

Our defense has been such utter crap this season, especially Alaba. We've got to take a hard look at this roster and maybe make some nasty transfer decisions, Alaba and Müller have been abysmal for too long.

Also unfortunate to see Ribery go down, this looked like a MCL/ACL tear.

No structure, starts with the coach. We need someone to re-implement a system that fits with the players we have. 4-3-3 isn't working. Anything but Tuchel would be a joke now, you can't install a novice like Scholl or keep Sagnol at this point.

Offense was ok, except the last 20 minutes or so. Defense has been trash for the whole season. Müller indeed needs to get benched, gotta give James a few games to show up. Same with Coman, now that Ribéry is probably out for some time. Kingsley never gets to play consecutive matches, no wonder his game stutters. Hope Bernat will be back soon, so we have another option if Alaba keeps struggling.

Good thing we got an international break now coming. Guys need to get their **** together.

    Hoeneß is an idiot.

I would rather have one Neymar than 5 Tolissos.

Kicker with some new insight, sounds like Ancelotti really isn't up to modern standards:

Practices were apparently low-energy and way too short, players have complained since last season. A group of players even organized their own practices, which Ancelotti prohibted, so players afterwards secretly practiced.
Fitness coach was constantly smoking and irritated players with his mentality.
Warm-ups sometimes only three minutes long.
Robben saying practices were better at his son's amateur youth club.
    No video analysis whatsoever.
Team divided and bad chemistry now, as Ancelotti apparently heavily favoured our Spanish players

    Jeez, that's some stuff.
I wonder if that was the case as well towards the end of his tenure in Madrid.

Maybe Carlo is ready to make the move to coaching in MLS.:D

Think the vast majority of Real players only had good things to say of Ancelotti, but it's probably easier to tolerate some stuff when you're winning CL at the same time. The things regarding little practice and a cross-heavy system were known though.

This is pretty much a first in Carlo's career, our team has shown chemistry issues for a longer time now. Old guys like Robben and Ribery are known to be divas and want to play 90min/game, then you have someone like Lewandowski who seems pissed every time a teammate scores instead of him.
Guys like Boateng and Alaba also seem to be more interested in marketing their brand, partying and being on snapchat or other social media sh** instead of focusing on the game.

This, coupled with the team being divided clearly shows on the pitch as well and is quite worrying, we probably have to do a roster overhaul next summer and reinvent this team. A guy like Tuchel would be perfect imo, he's known to not shy away from making decisions and has no problem benching stars.

So are you saying Anchelotti lost his passion for soccer after his 2 CL titles with Real and Milan?

    Lol
