I agree that the moves do not improve their chances at a ring. I do think they right the ship enough to stay in the top eight in the east. They were three loses away from getting knocked out of the playoffs. The trades give them just enough to make it in and a decent young core post LBJ era.

We'll have to see, Lebron went to the finals in his first year with a young Irving and Love who have never even been to the playoffs. Hill, Hood and Clarkson are a major upgrade to the perimeter and Nance Jr is pretty good as well.
