Why do the announcers have to be all about the Americans. They kept trying to hype up some American gymnast when the Japanese guy have won 5 or 6 straight championship and is considered the greatest gymnast ever. I think people want to see greatness not just some random American. That 16 year old Canadian who swam anchor on the 4x200m relay team is supposedly the next great swimmer. Surprised they didn't talk more about her.
i cant watch the NBC channel feed because of the horrible announcers and insane amount of commercials. I just watch online. If you go to an event live you dont have some stupid announcer ruin things. Yes, that Japanese gymnast is pretty amazing and consistent.
Most people don't hate america like you do. It's something you will have to put up with during the Olympics and July 4th.
Simone Biles was considered the greatest Gymnast of all time BEFORE the Olympics how come I've only just heard about her? Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
First I heard of her was associated with the Texans. Then I forgot. I don't GAF about gymnastics, even during the olympics. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">What an entrance, <a href="https://twitter.com/Simone_Biles">@Simone_Biles</a>! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TexansGameday?src=hash">#TexansGameday</a> <a href="https://t.co/qjhXXGxMa0">pic.twitter.com/qjhXXGxMa0</a></p>— #TexansCamp (@HoustonTexans) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonTexans/status/671024806179966976">November 29, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? As expected it is an all china gold medal match with the 2012 gold medal winner zhang vs the current world number 1. They have the same coach so he will be absent and both will play without a coach. It's on like Donkey Kong at 7:30 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uUDysQZr9zM?rel=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Personally going with Ma Long because his hair has been on point all tournament.
Thanks just saw it her winning it all. Great one by a great athlete! https://youtu.be/vmYgNvnBvOA Can't embed but it's Kayla getting the winning armbar with 10 sec to go in the match.
NBC needs to stop tape-delaying this chit. Show it twice for ****s sake. Totally anticlimactic when you find out what happens 6 hours before it airs.
I'm getting really sick of this ongoing sob story of of Phelps and all the poor things he has been through and his struggles to overcome himself -- he got a couple DUIs and was depressed. The guy didn't lose his child, battle stage 4 cancer, or anything really other than being a DB.
Well, most Olympians don't have this sort of longevity and success... so they're going to discuss everything, the ups and downs.
Their live-streaming page has been a dumpster fire for me. I've successfully signed in through 2 different cable providers, yet they keep asking me to sign in, in order to get the stream. I'm sure my login/password are correct bc I tried going directly to Xfinity and DirecTV's page and signed in. I gave up after 10 min. I will now excuse myself from this thread until later tonight, as there are still a few events that I don't know the results of yet.
