but that's what derozan did. he was on the run and caught a pass and dribbled about as fast as a human can dribble after catching. i don't know how that is a travel. and serbia committed an obvious travel on a pump fake 3 that they didn't call. if you don't play for team USA they tend to let things go. at least the first travel they called on durant was legit. even in the nba they would have to call that one.
its cute how klay thompson thinks hes a superstar. He's kyle korver with average defense. People forget Kyle Korver was an all-star and played international play Durant did not need to join the damn warriors Also this team usa team is not impressive its really durant, deandre, cousins, and george doing all the work. A lot of european superstar players stayed because of fears of ZIKA

Really interested to see what international basketball looks like four years from now at the 2020 Olympics. With some of the famed "golden generations" at or near the end of the line, I get the sense that the international powers below the US are going to shift a little bit in this next cycle. Serbia looks poised to be involved again in four years, Australia played well in Rio and has quite a bit of young talent that wasn't even playing this time around, and I think Canada has a real shot to be a player on the big stage with the way they're developing NBA talent now.
This Serbian team does not look like a top level international team. They're getting shut down on offense and they're not very good on defense. USA just doing work out there.
butler came in the game and i was thinking how much he had been struggling. then he cut to the basket and got a pass for an easy layup and i thought there was no way he could miss this, and he still bricked it. he is redefining struggling (edit: and he shoots an airball as i am typing this). and why did that follow up layup by lowry end up counting? it looked like it hit the rim and then someone knocked it off.
Draymond and Barnes playing in garbage time, shows how deep they are. Team USA should have crushed everyone like they're pounding Serbia today. Anyway they got gold despite not crushing everyone like the women did.
Gold medal for team USA. Just goes to show that when they show up to play, they are truly head and shoulders above the competition.
Oh boy, How much you want to bet Trump politicizes that last interview with Melo? "I believe America will be great again?" uh oh.
even in garbage time some of our team still struggled. draymond didn't shoot any jumpers close to going in and barnes looked lost. probably didn't help their plus/minus. i kinda wanted the largest margin of victory in a gold medal game.
