as soon as it happened i think all NBA azure fans had Tim Donaghy/2002 WCF flashbacks but its just the way they are, no excuses once the dust settles, everyone knows their trigger happy and were all game.

credit to the spanish coach (who i can't remember his game) for the aggressive play call and not going with gasol. real gutsy

 

Lull is a massive no if thats how he normally plays, I'm not sure cause i haven't really focused on him but i was hoping he was in position to make tough calls and shots cause he looked a bit out of his depth at a high stakes game

I didn't bother reading the past pages...got caught up in what I was watching on TV

 

I lOVE Cousins as a player and NBA big man, but I think I'm starting to realize that he may not be able to play a winning team or one with championship aspirations.

 

durant and irving playing awfully to start this game. back-to-back turnovers to start the game, mishandles, bricks, kick balls. and it took demarcus cousins 10 seconds to commit his first foul and give serbia free throws, and he missed his own free throw.


i don't know if we should be mad we've played so horrible or glad it's tied.

 

someone is going to have to explain to me how international teams run fastbreaks without catching the ball and getting called for traveling. i don't understand how derozan could have caught that pass and then started dribbling any faster than he did. it's not like he caught it, took a step and a half and started dribbling. i mean, assuming you have to actually catch the ball your body will move a little before you dribble. do international players just slap the ball down and never catch it?

 

yeah if Durant is going off, nobody stands a chance vs. team USA

I really REALLY dislike this team

I miss 2012 so much

 

You can catch the ball while running and don't have to immediately dribble .You have to dribble when receiving a ball while standing still.

 

So this is what we'll have to look forward to in regards to NBA basketball in the next decade.

durant takes over the second quarter. some huge number of points. cousins finally got going and the D stayed intense the whole half. good to see the team finally play a whole half on both offense and defense.
