Keuchel is the clear lead singer. I'd be all for "Keuchel and the F-bombs" Guess McHugh and McCullers gotta go. Trade em both for Jose Fernandez..done.
Sorry for the huge pic. This Springer being interviewed yesterday on MLB Network. MLB Network predicts the Astros winning the AL West and losing in the ALCS this year.
Got to figure Kemp is near the end of his looks at SP. Arguably, you could make the case he has had the worst offensive SP stats of any position player. Tyler Heineman, Alex Bregman, Roberto Pena, Jon Kemmer, Max Stassi, Joe Sclafani, Jon Singleton & Jake Marisnick are all having a terrible offensive SP. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/teams/stats/HOU/houston-astros?&_1:col_1=4&_1:col_2=4
With respect to Marwin, Ashby says: "...I don't know if you can call him a utility player, he can play anywhere..."
Because they are playing two games at exactly the same time It's a split squad day, meaning they split into two teams and each group plays a game. Gives them a chance to get more AB's and innings for some of the guys they want to look at while not sacrificing playing time for veterans.

I want a quad split squad where we play the Royals, Cardinals, Yankees, and Braves. And Sweep them all in one day.

So with Alfredo Gonzalez being optioned to minor league camp, two of the three 40-man rostered catchers are not going to be starting the season with the club. Are the Stros going dumpster diving near opening day for a backup catcher or will Heineman get added for the first month?
