I'm pretty sure it says the Royals won the World Series, meaning they didn't make a mistake. Padres on the other hand, may have made a mistake not keeping Gustave.

He should hit enough to play 1B, especially as a platoon player. 1B is a very weak position in MLB right now. Look at James Loney's ability to have a lengthy career. Agree that he will be at 3B if he is in the majors this year.

If he can play 1B adequately, then that will be great. I definitely see him being similar to Billy Butler.

Carlos Correa with a homer. Batting .500 in spring training. I'm ready.

Singleton is 2 for 24 this spring. Both hits came in the same game. Unbelievable. Thank goodness is White is (So far at least) panning out.

I love that our big guns all seem to have come into spring training ready to go. Altuve, Springer, Correa, Keuchel are all seemingly in mid-season form.

I could not be more excited for this season to get started.

I don't think Altuve is in mid-season getting picked off mode yet. :)

Let's play the what if game.

Altuve has another 200 hit season
Correa gives you a 25-35 homerun season
    Springer improves
    Tyler White starts at first
    Valbuena hits around 260(Chicago avg)
Rasmus improves due to contract year.

This team rivals the Blue Jays as best offense in the AL?

You're leaving out the very real possibility that Gomez was injured last year and he regains 2013-2014 form.

Our lineup has the potential to be insane.

Plus Castro is in a contract year as well, right?

But yeah, I don't expect anything from him anyway.

I think MCHugh has a huge year.

Last years early season outings were directly related to his experimentation with his cutter.

Fister is expected to be the No. 4 starter right?

Agreed. I remember thinking in 2014 that McHugh had better stuff than Keuchel. He was lights out at the end of last year.

I am really really hoping that McCullers gets healthy fast, because I have ultra-high hopes for him as well. Our lineup, rotation, and bullpen could all be elite. So so ready. Have not been this excited since 2005.

His cutter/slider wasn't moving early last season. I heard he had a blister. When he gets some sink on it, it becomes a very effective pitch when he's behind in the count.

I think it will be huge if Feldman can pitch anything like he did last year before hitting the DL.

Guy to keep an eye on is Gustave.

His stuff is good enough to pitch late in the ball game. It would be nice to pitch Gregerson in the 6-7 inning range.

McCullers arm action is so violent. It's just a matter of when instead of if.

I would like to see him moved to bullpen early on this season.

He is my favorite pitcher to watch.

From a pitching stand point, he is just as good as Keuchel if not better when his control is on.
