Typical NBA. Trying to extend the series and make it interesting. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 7 and Warriors win it there.
Didn't this guy just complain about a pick being dirty. Coming from a team that lives off of moving screens?
Marcus Thompson Marcus Thompson @ThompsonScribe Per a few members of Warriors, not surprised this was NBA's conclusion based on history. Disappointment is that NBA let LeBron push agenda 12:09 PM - 12 Jun 2016
Matt Barnes on Twitter: Lebron know God damn well he didn't need to step over that man like that! Funny how the NBA #PicksAndChooses #Bullsh!t 1:12 PM - 12 Jun 2016
Ben Golliver @BenGolliver LeBron James laughs at Klay Thompson's "feelings hurt" comment, then: "It's so hard to take the high road. I've been doing it for 13 years." 1:35 PM - 12 Jun 2016
He did initially but decided to give Mozgov the benefit of the doubt: "As I watched the replay, it might have been just bad luck, too," Thompson said of the collision that briefly knocked him out of Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night. "A knee to the thigh never feels good. I don't think he meant to do it maliciously." http://www.orovillemr.com/sports/20160609/nba-finals-klay-thompson-backs-off-dirty-play-comment/2 As far as this "moving screen" complaints goes, that's like complaints about Lebron James constantly traveling or Shaq constantly offensive fouling in the past.
Marc J. Spears @MarcJSpearsESPN LeBron James says he didn't intentionally walk over Draymond Green. 1:31 PM - 12 Jun 2016
Warriors are still capable of winning without Green. Iggy can start in his place and McAdoo can be the Iggy's Iggy off the bench. He looked good in Game 4.
Ayesha Curry on Twitter: High road. Invisible bridge used to step over said person when open floor is available left to right.
Lol yep, the reporter was trying to get a headline off of him there. A younger inexperienced player might have bit on that. The high road is the right call since he can't be sure what Thompson actually said since he didn't see or hear it firsthand.
The point is the irony of his complaint. In the end, this whole incident was pretty cut and dry. The NBA actually got it right this time. Lebron w/ the intentional and Green w/ the flagrant 1. The problem is the NBA didn't give a flagrant 2 like they should have against Adams. Or Green shouldn't have racked up this many flagrants to start. This flagrant 1 wouldn't have triggered an automatic suspension and it would be pretty meaningless otherwise. But the NBA made their bed on this one and will have to deal with it.
Now this series will be tainted. Cavaliers finally get a championship in 52 years and they will be known for the "NUTZ SERIES"
No they didn't get it right. There's no way anyone else would have gotten a flagrant one for that. It was clearly a "makeup call" and probably one to make Game 5 more competitive. But I do agree that the best way they should have handled is if they gave Green a flagrant 2 and threw him out for Game 3 and Green returns in Game 4 in OKC. Once they failed to do that, they were put in a position where they couldn't bring themselves to throw him out in a crucial Game 4.
