Right doesn't turn the ball over and pass protects well and plays special teams well, but he isn't actually a good between the tackle runner. Heck, if he was a lock to convert a 3rd and inches I'd get it, but he's not.

I like the IR move when it comes to Fairbairn, give Novak one more season before switching to the young guy.

 

Man Lonnie Ballentine has had some terrible luck. When he played, he seemed like he could've been a steal from the skills he flashed in his limited time before getting injured.

Now it looks like he's probably gone

 

Is this his 6th straight year to go on IR?????

 

Half that. He was drafted in 2014

Anyone know if Duke Thomas is still on the roster? Excited to follow him as a Longhorn but haven't seen or heard anything on him since signing him.

 

Haven't heard about him getting cut yet, so I assume he's still on the roster but he's not going to make the team.

 

Charles James is a lock? I love the dude, but that seems a bit surprising..

and why is Scarlett projected to be cut?

None of the other CBs that would get cut have outplayed James and the team is still depending on him for special teams.
