I get the sense that the Savage looks like he should be the starting QB by far, but the media has been put on a semi gag order
geez, i wonder who looks like they know what they are doing? the guy with 2 years and 3 days in this system or the other guy that has only 3 days of training camp? perhaps the media are not being complete idiots and considering those facts. who am i kidding, it's definitely a gag order from BOB.
Cool. Snide and snark right off the bat. Have a cup of coffee. I'm getting that sense from media hot takes. So they actually are being idiots according to you. I couldn't care less who starts. But I'll partake anyway. Using your logic, if you are implying Savage does look better because of his experience, shouldn't he be the starting QB this year? Or at the very least, currently in training camp?
Offensive line is already showing some concerns but it is early so hopefully they can develop some cohesion and momentum.
What do you mean? Who is struggling? I know X hasn't really been good and Brown was hurt, then Newton got hurt. Then we added 2 FAs and drafted a new center.

Lol wow.....I know you're almost exclusively a negative person, but this might be the most negative thing you've ever posted. Nicely done.
I can't put much stock in training camp hell can he at least throw one pass in a game before we start calling guys busts?
Then they should start him. Pete Caroll started wilson even though they paid flynn a lot of of money.
Well first of all, it's not true, secondly we saw last year that BOB doesn't do legitimate QB competitions, he always knows who he is going with from the start.
Wilson vs Flynn was a little different. That was declared a QB competition from day one. Even though they paid Flynn a lot more money, he knew he would still have to compete for the job. Not the case here with the Texans.
Why do I get the feeling that Osweiler is going to be a bust? I try to be optimistic but all I see is a mediocre qb..... Could've drafted Derrick Carr, smh. First Fitzpatrick, then Hoyer and mallet, now osweiler. Billy O'brien sure does have an eye for talent...
Probably because you aren't any good at trying to be optimistic. In his first starts of his career last year, he was better than any QB in the AFC South was last season.....how about we give him a little bit of time before trying to call him a bust based on literally nothing?
No and No. Why because Brock has done more in the NFL than Savage and is only behind not worse. How do you remedy being behind, reps and more reps. Savage was a journeyman in college and has no real upside. Brock has huge upside which is why the Texans paid him. If Savage had convinced the Texans who see him everyday for the last 2+ years they would have not paid Brock. That's enough for me to know Savage isn't the answer except as a reliable backup. That's using logic based on the Texans action or inaction as it were.
