At the very least, it will be nice to not hear Eddie Pleasant's number called each time there's a flag in the secondary.
Nah. I think they are just being very careful with him. If this was a regular season game, I think he would be starting.
I always thought Will Fuller was the best WR in the draft. Small hands was over blown. The only dropped passes he drop where the ones that weren't very catchable. There is only a handful of deandre Hopkins out there.

I know I should start my own thread or put this in the Brock thread but nonetheless: http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/brock-osweiler-houston-texans-bill-obrien-training-camp/1jfxybvrwnc8q1ho90bpgq2m6f?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
They are jizzing all over themselves in Cleveland the second coming of Steve Smith but as with every rookie, wait till he gets in a real game. Every rookie is a future hall-of-famer in August. But apparently he is tearing up Gilbert and Hayden in camp. I personally think he is this year's Todd Gurley (the guy who is on another level than everybody else athletically), but we'll have to wait and see. Not really fair to compare him to Fuller, though, since he was gone way before the Texans picked.

The Patriots are playing the Saints right now and Jimmy G looks like hot garbage so far. The Pats really could lose all 4 games Brady is out.
I just don't see them having such a monster defense to make up for a bad QB. The only thing keeping Jimmy G from having thrown 2 picks thus far is the Saints being awful defensively and an OPI that wasn't called. Unless he is a LOT better in the regular season, I just don't see how the Pats can put up many points.
I saw this over on the Texans Talk Forum and I thought it was funny, in a sad way. Clowney is an NFL version of Oden.
Reasons for optimism. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I know him. <a href="https://t.co/4iJAeBwhYN">pic.twitter.com/4iJAeBwhYN</a></p>— PDS (@PatDStat) <a href="https://twitter.com/PatDStat/status/763899070138060800">August 12, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This guy too. <a href="https://t.co/hJzIa9uohg">pic.twitter.com/hJzIa9uohg</a></p>— PDS (@PatDStat) <a href="https://twitter.com/PatDStat/status/763900392107159552">August 12, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Stop me if you've heard this one before Brian Hoyer 7/10 81 yards, 0 TD, 1 interception, 3 sacks for -32 yards, QB rating of 54.6 and 0 total points scored by his team while he's the QB Ryan Mallett 11/15 91 yards 6.1 yards per attempt, 1 TD, 1 interception, 82.9 QB rating Thank god we don't have to deal with any of that this season. I look forward to Brock being the first legitimate QB we've had since pre-injury Schaub.
