I watch the games. Stats will tell you WCS was one of the worst defensive players in the league last year too. Which is crazy odd because he won DPOY in college the year before his rookie season.
Because what are we going to do in late game situations when they cannot stay in the game cause one can't hit free throws and the other can't guard anyone or protect the paint to save his life?
Actually, I enjoy watching delusional Rockets fan crying and then eventually came back when the team will start to win again.
Also, OKC was +3.9 points better with him ON the court during the playoffs. +3.6 during the regular season. As bad as you claim his defense is, his offense is better apparently.
This seems interesting: http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets...competition-8333218.php?cmpid=twitter-desktop

Very interesting. I wasn't sure the Rockets would be interested in Whiteside after basically letting him walk. No, Whiteside wasn't the player he's become now, but it seemed to me that there was more going on there than just Whiteside the player. I hope the Rockets are a legit threat to sign him.
No, what I'm saying is the Kings gave Iguodala a huge contract offer as soon as he met with them in the first couple of days. That contract fell through but regardless the offer was on the table on July 1st. That is the only reason I bring up Iquodala because it was on July 1st and could be considered a bad contract (14mil/year) (which is probably why the rescinded it as well as AI dragging his feet which was the right move) Bazemore waiting for all the stupid money to be gone is a mistake. He should be trying to convince as many teams as possible on July 1st to sign him instead of waiting after July 4th like he is Lebron or Bosh or something? Doesn't make sense to me unless his agent is going to be doing all of the work for him and he is just out of pocket. Still I would think most teams would want to meet with the player first before handing them a huge contract so by July 5th some of the big money may be gone by then. I mean this dude made 2 million last year so I would be waiting for any NBA team at midnight on July 1st so what my offers were and willing to meet with anyone with cap space as this is most likely his only chance at a huge contract as you don't know what tomorrow brings. Get it while you can young man!
Anyone know anything about this Willie Reed guy? Put up good stats in limited minutes but did play about half the season with the Nets. Good finisher it seems but maybe he is just another guy. Source: Nets won't give Willie Reed a qualifying offer. He will be an UFA. His 19.3 PER would've been 52nd in NBA if he played enough mins. from Michael Scotto Twitter.
 Yep, but he can't be your center in late game situations, Capela is the one not able to make his free throws.
