don't see why it wouldn't. horford spends most of his time outside of the paint and loves his mid range jumper. While drummond is ineffective outside a few feet from the basket. I think that complements one another very well at the 4 and 5 position.
Any updates on Emeka Okafor? I know he was ready to play this year, but decided to take another year of rest to be 100% certain he's healed. He will be 34 for the upcoming season. Still young enough to produce as a backup or as 3rd string insurance at C. The guy is from Houston, so a discount and a bench role might be okay for him.
I think we're going to strike out on KD, Horford, and Conley. If we aren't able to land a legit all-star to put next to James (I don't think we will), we should be looking for short contracts that will leave us flexibility to spend on next year's crop of FAs. We aren't going to beat GS, OKC, or CLE without getting KD. Let's face it. And I don't think Morey and Le$ will overpay for marginal talent. Center: Pau Gasol Timothy Mozgov PF: Derrick Williams Andrew Nicholson Mirza Teletovic SF: Evan Turner Allen Crabbe SG: Eric Gordon E'twaun Moore Seth Curry Troy Daniels Sergey Karasev Gerald Henderson PG: Langston Galloway 3. Eric Gordon 4. Seth Curry
Someone I just thought of for a wing: Solomon Hill. Pretty good for Pacers in the playoffs as a 3 N D player.
You forget that Mike D'Antoni madr Gasol's life miserable in LA making him come off the bench and not utilize his talents fully.
Mother ****ing JR Smith started for the Cavs on their playoff run... If we've got Harden, Batum, Horford, and DMo on the court, we don't need anything besides a spot up shooter and a solid defender. Of which, Bev is both. What we can't afford to start the season off with is Ariza as a starter. He's the one that needs replaced. Not Bev.
Yes but JR Smith isn't a pg. I don't care how much Harden handles the ball, we need a solid pg next to him and Bev is not that guy.
Where else would Ariza play? (Ideally for another team, of course). And yes. It's absolutely about taking the ball out of Harden's hands. Dude needs someone to help him. In fact I'd say that's our biggest need -- people who can create that aren't Harden. Conley is that. Batum is that. Bev isn't that. Obviously.
Let's face it, there's no rookie who can help this team out from the jump unless we jump into the top 6 but that's only possible if we trade Harden Trade Brewer for a second Trade Ariza for a first Sign Conley Sign a shooter like Lee or Kmart or Henderson Sign Batumn and M. Barnes or G. Green Resign Beasley Sign Anderson Sign Whiteside or Noah or Biyombo or Ezeli or Mahinmi Sign Aldrich Draft Thon Maker (who will have value later on) Draft Payton II Draft a stash player Conley/Bev/Payton II Harden/(Lee, Kmart, Henderson)/KJ Batumn/(Barnes/Green)/Dekker Beasley/Anderson/Harrel (Whiteside, Noah, Biyombo, etc)/Capela/Aldrich
