Good resource to watching film on the top QBs in the draft.

    But ...

Those college offenses are nothing like a pro offense. It is very hard to tell how any of these QBs will do in The NFL. The combine will be more telling.

It is also damn near impossible from these videos to tell if the QBs are running through their progressions (in the very few times that they have to, since it looks pre-snap the QB decides who they will throw it to immediately after catching the snap). Likewise it is hard to tell if the QB makes the wrong read in the progression.

The only thing I could tell from the videos is that Paxton Lynch has the best arm. Lynch makes deep accurate throws. (But everybody appears to down on him due to his bad bowl performance, which is fair enough.)

Looks like Lynch or Goff is for sure going to the Browns:

Hue Jackson on the Browns: "If there is a QB at #2 that is a best fit for our team, we need to go get him. I'm thinking they'll take Lynch because he's the least likely of the two to pan out.

The browns finally made the right hire. Hue Jackson is a damn coach who's not gonna take Johnny's ****.

IMO, the combine will be less telling. Yeah, most of them aren't running pro style offenses. But how is throwing in shorts to receivers who aren't being defended supposed to give you a better indicator of how they'll do at the next level? They don't read defenses. They don't even take snaps from under center. The combine may highlight what tools they possess but it does little to tell you how well they can apply those tools in an actual game.

I'd put more stock in college game tape than combine performance any day.

People are sleeping on Hue Jackson and the recent changes the Browns have made. Jackson is extremely bright and dynamic, capable of adjusting his coaching scheme. He never should have been fired in Oakland. He also is assembling an excellent coaching staff.

And that one that isn't is the best of them. Funny.

    My bad.

I meant the Senior Bowl. The practices more so than the game will be telling for the QBs.

Looking at the rosters, it appears only the second tier QBs are attending, with Carson Wentz being the only first tier QB. Goff, Lynch, Cook, and Hackenberg will not be attending. Wentz might solidify in his first status by attending.

Well, you know they call it the "Senior" Bowl for a reason. Goff, Lynch, and Hackenberg are Juniors so that's why they're not attending. Cook is the only one who's really pulled out.

There are always exceptions to the rule. But usually franchise QBs are found in the 1st round usually toward the very top.

Pro-day workouts have affected QB draft prospects the most. That and the interviews with NFL coaches.

I'm not disagreeing. Just pointing out the "irony". To add to your point, those 3 QBs were obvious #1 overall picks. Unfortunately for the Texans, that hasn't been the case when they've had the chance to pick so high.

    Bradford is delusional:

I'm really hoping they don't reach on Hack, I wouldn't mind getting him in the second but he is not a first rounder
