get them all! Rg3, 7storms,freedman, bradford, yates, weeden. change their positions so they can all be on the roster and have them start 2 games randomly, until the rookie learns the advanced A.I playbook.
I'm sure most people are familiar with this, but if you want to start watching compressed game tapes, draftbreakdown.com is the place. Here are the relevant players' pages: Jared Goff - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/jared-goff/ Paxton Lynch - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/paxton-lynch/ Carson Wentz - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/carson-wentz/ Connor Cook - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/connor-cook/ Christian Hackenberg - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/christian-hackenberg/ Cardale Jones - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/cardale-jones/ Jacoby Brissett - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/jacoby-brissett/ Kevan Hogan - http://draftbreakdown.com/players/kevin-hogan/ and I think that just about covers everybody with a chance to go in the first 3 rounds.
I could see Wentz pulling a 'Blake Bortles' and pushing his way to the top. His draft year, it was all 'Manzell" or "Bridgewater' in fans' minds right up until the draft, but by the time the combine rolled around, you could sense that some NFL guys really loved Bortles. To me, Wentz really looks like a QB on tape which I think was a big subliminal plus in Bortles' favor. He's big, but not lumbering (Paxton Lynch can move well, but he just looks BIG, and Goff plays tough, but he just looks a little wiry). He seems calm in the pocket (I think how they look is illusory but I think NFL teams don't agree). He has a sneaky-strong arm, where I was a bit worried that he didn't have the arm based on the short/intermediate throws, right up until he had to unload deep and it sailed. He has a decently strong arm, but he throws catchable balls rather than unloading on every attempt like Mallett or David Carr. He can also tuck the ball and run, very much like Bortles, where he isn't Michael Vick with the 40 time, but if you give him space he will take it. The level of competition is the only thing that doesn't check a box on the sheet of paper for Wentz. But for me, watching the video, on field Wentz looks like the guy you'd cast in the film - him and maybe Cook. I think you could see three guys in the top 15 - Lynch, Goff, and Wentz. In the top 9, only Cleveland needs a QB badly with Chip Kelly's love of Kaepernick puting them out of the absolute need category, but I could see 5 of 6 teams between 10 and 15 wanting a QB, with Oakland being the obvious exception.
https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL_Draft/...one_post_mel_kipers_10_mock_from_espn/cyyewzq Broke down Wentz over at r/nfl_draft. Nice small community over there.
I don't see Paxton Lynch as a starting NFL QB. Goff and Wentz, yes. But not Lynch and definitely not Cook.
The combine is going to be huge for Wentz. If his accuracy and mobility satisfy, he will be a top 5 pick. QB's with that size, arm strength and mobility are probably the most prized quantity in the NFL.
I'd be thrilled with RG3 and Hackenberg to be honest. I know most wouldn't, though. I love draftbreakdown, BTW. Been watching film most of the year. I've been on the Wentz bandwagon since October. I'm glad you guys are starting to look at him and like him. In a way, though, I wish less people would know about him. If be surprised if we were able to stand pat and draft him. With the buzz he's getting, honestly, I think he's going to go to Cleveland, and he'll finally end their run of QB suckitude. You can basically tale that to the bank. I don't think we'll be able to trade up for him. Kid's gonna rise.

Hackenberg makes some bad decisions, and has poor mechanics when he has pressure that leads to his inaccuracy. His line is freaking horrible. Boom/bust guy. My rankings - 1. Goff 2. Wentz 3. Hackenberg 4. Lynch 5. Cook
Hackenberg is interesting. Good mobility in the pocket... Quick release... Nimble feet...very accurate short and intermediate when he keeps his mechanics... Won't have issues looking over the line.... Strong arm (but not a laser). Biggest issue I noticed was he didn't always see wide open receivers deep and he needs better touch on the deep ball. With a good combine and workout I could see a couple of teams fall in love with him and be convinced he can be their long term solution at QB. Certainly the most physically gifted QB the Texans have had since David Carr.

I'd take out San Fran now that Chip Kelly is their HC. Kap is perfect for his offence so I don't see them in the market for a QB this year. However, I'd throw New Orleans, Philadelphia, the Jets, and maybe Dallas in that group with Cleveland, St. Louis, and Chi as teams poses picking QB's high. Breeze still has good years left, so if he stays in NO then they might not pick a QB. Hopefully Philly doesn't realize that Sam Bradford is not the guy. Fitzy is never the long term answer in NJ. And Little D may pick a QB high to groom behind an easily broken Romo. I loved the idea of being in the playoffs, but in the back of my mind and in my heart of hearts I didn't think we could make it past NE if we got out of the first round. By making the playoffs we essentially dropped from picking 18 to picking 22. 4 doesn't seem like much but better position allows you to pay less if you were trying to jump up in the draft. Say Goff goes to Cleveland @ 2. The Texans have to jump at least to 10 if they want to pass up other teams needing a QB. Jumping from 18 to 10 is easier than 22 to 10.
