McNair tells it like he is. Even talked about trading up if they had too lol not sure how many owners would make these statements.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Heard varied names <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Texans?src=hash">#Texans</a> interested in draft. By the chart it would take your first (22) second and third to trade up to #10 to assure a top 3 QB. But Wentz is still tracking around #22 so far; but I bet he shoots up at the Combine and Senior Bowl.
Not really when you consider the other part of the quote. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Bob McNair 'We'll probably want a veteran to work with a young guy. Brian [Hoyer] did a lot of good things this year'</p>— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/687105443244552192">January 13, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> The "draft a young QB and bring him along" is what they've supposedly been doing with Savage. He was a guy with talent that needed to develop and they intended to sit for a couple of years. I don't think they pull the plug on that after 2 years. So going by McNair's quotes you have Rookie, Hoyer, and probably Savage. No room for Kaep or RGIII if they stick to that idea.
Aren't all rumors regarding the draft in terms of who teams like a complete lie at this point in time?
Of course by saying Hoyer "did a lot of good things this year" he is talking about him getting concussed at just the right times.
Yep. Its lie season. Take anything you hear with a grain of salt. Especially from Pancakes. He's a patsy.
Do us all a favor and quit referencing anyone getting concussions as a positive. We all know you think like that, no need to keep posting it.
Dude! Are you 7 years old? A player getting hurt, especially with what we know about concussions, is never a positive. We all know you really love Mallet and can't wait to dump on Hoyer but you've taken it too far.
It's never a positive for that player, but it was absolutely a positive for the team....I mean, if not for the concussions, the Texans don't make the playoffs at all. You should probably take a Xanax and relax a bit, you seem to be getting really worked up.
