I know the draft is far away but draftnet and express have him at 15 and 25 right now, so hopefully he stays in that range. I agree though that he looks very talented lol.
is the suppose to be a good draft? i haven't really followed draftees this year because we didn't have a pick (outside of BEN FKN SIMMONS). also any update on when dmo will be playing?
Bballholic who is in your opinion the best pg in this draft who has the ability to shoot? and the best C?
Shooting-wise Demetrius Jackson (in regards to talent plus shooting, not shooting alone). http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Demetrius-Jackson-7218/ Kris Dunn is the best PG talent-wise, but his shooting needs improvement.
The "ability to shoot" part of the question kinda tricks it. Jamal Murray would probably be considered the best "shooter" point guard by many. But Murray's a frosh and nowhere near ready defensively. And in my opinion, may never be ready defensively. And in my opinion would be a poor fit next to Harden unless and until he could keep his turnover count down. I do feel Baldwin is very underrated from the PG prospective. I've watched for a while. He's got plenty of fire, plays the defensive end, decent size and athetlcism, and he can shoot it, finish it, and dish it. Really like Baldwin a lot. Which brings me to Levert. I think most people aren't considering him as a pg. It's difficult to consider him at pg because he is so stinking long. Probably not as long as McGrady but almost. But if you put him at the point then there should be no question he's the best shooting point guard in the draft malakas. He can shoot it from half-court and over anybody out there. I'm very biased for this kid though. Watched him battle through injury. And I've watched enough of him to fall in love with his attitude and leadership skills. He's just a winner. And I love winners. He'll do anything to win. And I love those kinds of guys. Then when you meld in extreme basketball gifts and athletic talents it's a no-brainer for me. I'd take this kid with the Pistons pick, plug him in at the 1 and never look back. He's the best shooting point guard in the draft. And I think he's the best overall point guard in the draft. I'll shamelessly promote him because I think he's going to be a superstar. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pvsm3OKKd0k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lxtrKOmHS2I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I saw Demetrius Jackson a few times last year. He has an unbelievable first step. Extremely athletic. Did not see great on-ball defense, though.
size. He's just another run-of-the-mill backup point guard in the association. doesn't have extreme pg skills like cp3 to be a standout with his stature. Just another brooks/larkin/barea/Mowilliams/etc pg.
Watch us get Sabonis's boy.... Domantas....to replace Donatas... Pistons are making the playoffs. This is going to be somewhere in the 15-20 range. Smoothie is spot on with how this will go down. We will have 2 late 1st rounders and we will most likely get more wheel spinning selections like TJ DMo Royce White and Dekker.
2007: J.Noah 2004: Iggy 2002: Amare 1999: Marion 1998: Dirk 1997: T-Mac A couple other notable #9 picks in history, Stacey Augmon, Rony Siekley, Oakley, Otis Thorpe, Dale Ellis, Rolando Blackman, Reggie Theus, JoJo White, Mel Daniels. Really great players at #9, but the Houston Rockets have only selected 1 #9 pick. Joel Przybilla in 2000. There have been 2 UH players selected at 9, Dwight Jones and Gary Phillips.
another reason why we should've moved another rotation player or two for picks. we should've taken whatever we could get for dwight rather than let him walk this summer.
