    You did the calculation right. You just typed in the pool number wrong. 5% of 5,735,000 is 286,750 as you posted, which is less than what we went over. Hopefully as No Worries mentioned Dustin Hunt did sign for $130,000. At any rate, I doubt Luhnow would lose a draft pick by accidentally going just barely over the 5% threshold. I'm sure it is fine.

    Ah gotcha. Yeah I'd imagine the Astros would be getting a lot more attention if they really did mess up. I don't think I've heard anyone else talk about it

    The pool was $5,928,300. I'm not sure which number the 5% actually applies to.
