I'm thinking more 18.5 ppg, 42% FG%, 34% 3PT%, 81% FT%, 3 RPG, 6APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.8 BPG, and 3.5 TOPG. Your numbers look pretty good but the efficiency is a bit high.
I hope Lin gets huge minutes this year so he can really have an opportunity to show what he can do finally. I hope he plays 42 mpg / 24ppg / 3 assists because f--- passing the ball and playing on the team / 2 rebounds / 6 steals / 5 TO on 36% FG and 38% 3ptFG. Also, I hope that Lin carries the team to at least 12 wins. He'll basically be the Harden of the East. Every team will have to make game plans for him that include things like: "Let him do his thing until the closing minutes because he'll probably just give us the ball in the closing seconds". Have a great year, Lin!!! Dominate the ball, but not the league!!! And don't forget to tweet about turning the other cheek when someone tries to take your number. The ultimate goal is to keep changing teams every year. All the greatest players do it!
That would be a career best for Lin and also would enshrine him in the rare territory of players who shoot 3s better than 2s and 3s.
i'm seeing a lot of asian guys copying lin's latest haircut. it's like how skinny jeans wear popular several years ago and overweight girls were wearing them too muffin tops be damned. one style does not suit all.
has a chance to average high turnovers this season. His numbers will look good but his impact will be minimal
less than Harden -and more than -Eric Gordon .. on bar with most of 17million $ players worth of contribution
BTW, Lin's preseason making a few posters here uncomfortable they know he's probably going to do 17 & 6, so now the narrative is going to focus on efficiency while carrying a bad team, last 2 minute plays and team wins (or lack of with the Nets). The narrative will be Lin will get his, but it's a bad team so who cares Nice to see Lin's preseason making a few here uncomfortable. But in actual fact, it is just the preseason
let me save some bandwidth for CF Lin fans: 24 points 10 assists 6-9 shooting Linsanity is back!!! Lin haters: 8 turnovers lmao DLeague scrub
I hope we get some more LOF banned from this Rockets fans site, kick them off the street like a road kill
Fwiw, his numbers in preseason have been this: 17.2 ppg, 61.9% FG%, 50% 3PT%, 77.4% FT%, 2 RPG, 5.6APG, 1.4 SPG, 0.0 BPG, and 3.6 TOPG. He got those numbers in 23.3 minutes per game. Most are projecting that he'll get 34-36 minutes per game. Of course, regular season is different than pre-season...he'll get trapped more, game-planned against, play against starters more consistently, fatigue will factor it; that's why I am not projecting huge scoring numbers. But his shooting mechanics are much improved, and his confidence is the highest its been since college, so I see these keeping his efficiency pretty high.
He looks to be more in control. Really have to fix those TO's, although I'm sure it will get better as he becomes more accustomed to his teammates. He did show considerable improvement in this area last season.
