While we're at it ... anyone care to put down an estimate for the Brooklyn Nets win totals for 2016-17? I say they surprise on the upside ... and win 27. Disastrous on an absolute basis, but relative to expectations, a pretty solid season. And no ... no guesses on Jerry Lin's stats.
Only if you live stream it and share the link with us all (not that I really want to watch) Your chances of doing that is pretty damn low; still a post I wouldnt make
I think they can win 30 games. You have to be actively trying to be bad to only win 20. 30 games isn't good, if they are still doing that in 2 years, draft picks or no draft picks, I agree with Mathloom, that GM needs to be in the hotseat.
You would still consider him as a mediocre player even he starts to average star numbers for a 35-40 wins team in the East. Period.
I think with Jerry Lin it works both ways. He gets scrutinized way more than any other player on this board while his fans defend him much more than most fans do their favorite players. You're entitled to your opinion on him. It is the Jerry Lin thread on Clutchfans. At least you're not that double-standard guy from Alice in Wonderland that spends 80% of this time talking about Jerry Lin but wants to preclude others with a different opinion to him from discussing him.
I think they'll get 22 wins, 28 if they are fortunate to make it through the full season injury-free.
Harden's basically playing PG now and I kinda like what I saw tonight. What would Lin do? He's not really a 2 guard. I guess he'd still be a solid backup for Harden but he's gonna have the rock alot on the Nets and even there, I'm not sure he can be doing 20 ppg, lol. ...are you trolling me?
Yeah I was just messing around. I do actually like Lin though. He seems like a nice guy, so it's always nice to see him do well.
Wow! That's a big commitment lol! If they play solid team ball and accountable defense, winning 30 games in regular season shouldn't be that hard.
All of you who joined just to talk about Lin and have no affiliation to the Rockets, please leave and please delete your passwords.
I thought he was the key ingredient for CHA and I predicted good things for them at the start of last season with their acquisition of him. Really surprised they parted ways. Was a perfect fit, water met its level I thought. Hoping the best for him in Brooklyn, be careful what you wish for might be the outcome of this. Bojan and Jeremy have the keys now.
