Lin can actually pull it off. Non-black people usually look corny when they try to braid their hair.

    Lmfao!
Lin came in a scrawny Asian young adult.
He's gonna come out of the league as a middle aged black man.

Anyways, this is what Lin and Lin fans wanted. This is gonna be Jeremy Lin's team and he will most likely put up like 20 shots a night.
Of course the players surrounding Lin are pretty terrible so I have little doubt he'll have any team success, but he will most likely get his stats.
Although, he had a pretty good role in Charlotte and had the team success come along with it.

I wonder if the move to Brooklyn was mainly a money thing...

Money is one factor, but with this year's market, he could have been paid more. I think he chose Nets because of that starting and leader role, and of course money helps.
Yes, he will most likely not get any team success, but what if he does? Let's say they win 10-20 more games this year than last, that's a big accomplishment and his value will be up.

Imo, he wants one more time with a team he can be the leader and see where his ceiling really is. A team that he can play the way he wants to play, instead of being forced to adapt to a different team system because there is someone better. Keep in mind, before Harden's trade, Lin was suppose to be given the green light and become the face of the franchise until we land the next big star. Harden trade cut that transition period to 0. Harden quickly showed his dominance and Lin's play was redundant and inferior. Terrible tanking Lakers didn't help but lowered his value further. Forced to go to Charlotte to redeem himself which he did. Now he has a new start. I hope it works out for him.

Perhaps it's Lin's attempt to make it past arena security with more regularity. I got braids! Let me in bro!

The move to Brooklyn was mainly the opportunity to start. Charlotte was a nice situation, but the Hornets are committed to Kemba Walker as a starter, so staying there would essentially be Lin conceding his chance to be a starter as he heads into the prime of his career.

    He deserved it.

I'll reluctantly give credit to tinman. He got him.

Same **** again, cant google info. Lin had higher offers. Wanted starting role. Chance to test himself. Wants to play PG instead of combo guard. Has relationship with new head coach. Team will play PnR with Brooks. Will play fast tempo. Coach's influences are MDA and Rick Adelman. Also well known for developing point guards. Got a trade kicker.

Plus at start of free agency, it seemed very likely Nets would be able to get Johnson (unfathomnable Wade would leace the Heat), and that it was more than 50/50 that they would get Crabbe also with Blazers going after Parsons and also Pau Gasol which seemed a better fit position wise than matching Crabbe who had McCollum in front of him and would be a $18m/yr reserve.

All that, and you still think it's just about the money.

Jerry, your mum does not approve. You are getting too far away from your violin/piano and Harvard roots.

And on that note I appreciate all the Lin fans that were civil in this thread until this douchebag showed up.

It's definitely about the money. Charlotte would have not paid him that much .
And of course he starts. You don't get paid that much to be a bench player unless you play for the Rockets

What amount did Crabbe get matched so he can back up McCollum?

Red is the original Rocket fan who liked Lin.

I know other's are completely faking their Rockets fandom, but Red is not.

He's from Texas. H Town. USA

It was definitely better here when Lin was a Knick and Rockets fan discussed him without these chickens who joined for Lin.
