If your job is a professional athlete and you miss half the season in your first year , it's not good. He had injuries with all his teams and critical ones too. The lin article comes during the playoffs which makes me question the intent. He could have spoken about this during his first year with the knicks

Lin had a decent run in Charlotte but chased the glory and money and status of being a starter more than team success. The Nets trade was terrible. However they did not realize that getting Lin will help Boston get the #1 player in the draft. It would be a historic season already for them to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, but getting the #1 pick is unbelievable. And yes Lin has something to with it. All the Lin fans said Lin helped the Nets win when he played, that's correct he did. However he only played 33 games. With the exception of his best season as a Rocket playing 82 games when he was 24, he's not come close to starting past 33 games in 4 years. This is the PRIME of his career.
