PSG had it coming, they relied on Cavani too much and thought they were through way too early.

Reminded me heavily of our 2nd leg vs Juve from last season. Packing the bus and trying to hold the lead is the worst thing possible you can do vs Barca and Bayern, you have to keep on playing and compete on both ends.

Watching this over and over again and I still can't believe that they advanced thanks to this unfair play. UEFA has to ban Suarez for at least three games und Aytekin from international matches for at least a year. Suarez saw the yellow card just a few minutes before for a dive so Aytekin must have known. Red card for Suarez, free kick Paris, still 4-1, five minutes to play. No way Barca wins this. Such a shame and now they are my enemy #1 for the rest of the season. Will applaud any team that eliminates them. Real used to be the dislikable team among Spain's giants but now it's clearly Barca. **** them!

There's not a lot of traffic, so an international referee must have a clean view. And since you booked him before for a dive, you simply don't give that penalty in the 90th minute if you're not 1000% sure. 4th referee must be banned from football if he saw that as a penalty. This **** is ruining our beloved sport.

This guy just won't shut up, wtf.

Douglas Costa warns Bayern Munich chiefs AGAIN that he is unhappy… with Juventus ready to pounce

And Costa repeated those sentiments in the wake of their progression to the Champions League quarter-finals.

He said: "I speak to the club often. We talk about my situation, if I'll stay here or if I have to find another team to play for. I'm not always that happy here. But soon we will find a situation."

On the other hand it could be the media spinning another story with old material, his comments from weeks ago.

I won't trust the British Sun on that matter.

Hope so, although they explicitly said he made those statements after the Arsenal game.

He's had a lot of great games for us recently and I still feel like he could become a legitimate Ribery/Robben successor, don't want to see him leave.

Replace him with Gnabry. I don't like mercenaries like that. Try that crap at other teams, not at Bayern. Ship his ass out.

Haven't followed Gnabry at all this season, is he doing as great as he did in the Olympics? Rumors are strong regarding a Bayern clause, so he'd probably be a cheap replacement.

Not the same ability unless Serge goes off. Temporarily maybe and then go for someone like Jesus Gabriel breh but on the left side.

Let's read not too much into this. We all know there are greedy agents out there and dubious things go on, especially when players from South America are involved.

Jesus breh can play on the left wing and did so a lot in the past, but don't think he'll leave City in the next years.
Maybe Alexis Sanchez, don't think he'll want to stay at this Arsenal side. He'll be 29 next season though, not sure it'd be a wise investement.

Sure. As for Sanchez and Aguero they should go to China or MLS in a few years

Watching Bayern play vs Bundesliga teams and then comparing it to performances vs English teams always makes me think how horribly overrated that league is.

The EPL teams consistently rack up terrible performances in CL & EL, yet many people think it's the most competitive or best league in the world.

You see the likes of Frankfurt giving Bayern hell, yet top tier English teams like Arsenal get completely raped and ManU ties vs. garbage squads like Rostov.

If you watch the league, you would know that EPL is all about Offense apart from a few coach's philosophy (Conte, Mourinho's parking the bus).....

High scoring affairs and conceding goals is part of the game.....

I think one of the reasons people watch the EPL is because of how close the title race and the race against relegation are.

Bottom teams have a good budget to afford a couple of stars. Midtier teams have stars.
Midtier teams have a chance to win it all.

EPL got money and a fine fantasy game. Basically it is a glamor league, which does not mean it is the most competitive league in Europe or even in Top 3.

Personally I do not think they are necessarily the best league but for sure the most entertaining one with goals, funny moments, stuff to talk about, managers barking at managers.

The British have a sense of humor, they got talent but they always choke in big tournaments in recent history.

They rarely go onto the streets like this in other leagues.... high end drama.o_O

Leicester just beat Sevilla and advance to Europe's top eight. Would be very funny if ManCity gets eliminated tomorrow and the Foxes (currently #15 in PL) were England's only team in the quarters.

Pulisic scores again on a nice left footer after an overlap.

Man this kid is great - has all the makings of our first true star. Hopefully the USA can create some player to support him on the pitch.

SPORT BILD today saying we're already in advanced talks with Brandt and will probably trigger his cheap buyout clause next year. Great alternative to Gnabry.
