Brewer can't shoot, neither can Dwight, it is not secret that I prefer players that are good shooters....not sure why it bothers people so much that people like certain players.

I don't give two ***** if you like another player, and wouldn't pound you because of it, but man, that happens here a lot if you like a player......folks come unglued.....like it means something....I am too old a dawg to let you young pups bother me about what type of player I like or dislike....you like whomever you want, good by me, and I will do the same - and if you don't like it? I don't care.

    :)

Which is kinda what everyone is saying. You wanted Morey to pony up the money to Dmo BECAUSE YOU LIKED HIM, not because it made good basketball sense. Which became apparent by his lack of offers, and further confirmed by his play (or lack thereof) in New Orleans. By all means, cheer for Dmo and don't let anyone here deter you from doing so. However, the Rockets made the right moves in this situation.

LOL DMo can't shoot either since he broke his back though:

    Motiejunas FG 48% 3p 28%
    Brewer FG 37% 3p 33%

And Motiejunas is a bug man who tries to play in the post whereas Brewer has ti stay in the perimeter.

It bothers me because you talk **** about Dwight and other players but then you like a guy like DMo who is performing way worse. How can you call Dwight a loser and cancer when he has lead teams to WCF and Finals and then say DMo is a good shooter when he is shooting 28% 3 pt and sub 50% FG? Its fine if you like DMo but then don't trash other players who are performing way better than him. Its like saying you hate Harden but then is an ardent fan of Kevin Martin.

It's good though that you're not taking this personally, none of my posts are meant to attack the poster himself.

Once again, DMo only missed one 3 point attempt tonight.

But before the trade he was only playing limited minutes, and only if Jones or Cunningham were injured.
Essentially he is still the 3rd string big guy? So role hasn't changed.
BJ can't even be bothered with DMo anymore.

But according to Holic BJ is a first class agent and other players are looking at DMo's situation and thinking that guy was great for standing up for his client though.

DMo continues his hot 3 point shooting as he went another game without missing a shot.

Everybody should like DMo more than Dwight.. DMo had unique skills that took work to develop. Dwight has no more skills than he had in high school - probably junior high - despite playing the f'g sport for a living. Dwight deserves no sympathy. He's just lucky to have been born as one of the 0.00000000000[just insert a few dozen lines of 0's]1% of humans at that freakish size with that freakish athleticism. No sympathy.

That said, you are correct- you can like a player and still see the correct decision for the team was not to give into them. Injuries suck.

Still not the correct decision for the team to let an asset walk for nothing - and we sure could use him now.

If that asset was being an absolute little b**** then it absolutely is the correct decision. We tried to get something out of him once already and his back ****ed it up for everyone.

Dmo had a role, money, familiarity, team success, friends and avid fanbase here.

It was definitely a life changing bad move on his part.

    Pride definitely come before downfall

D-Mo would have been worthless to the Rockets this year. He's playing for his NBA future now.

He would have been a valuable contributor at both PF and C spot, especially when we play teams with a big center, DMo could have taken that center to the 3pt line opening it up for Harden's drives.

That is the one weakness we have, we don't have a center that can shoot - and as such teams with centers like Miami, Memphis, or Utah etc, can clog the paint and it is why we struggle against them.
