[2016-2017] Donatas Motiejunas as a New Orleans Pelican

Rockets really missed a big body like DMO tonight.

Had he played for Brooklyn we could have won by 40.

 

It will take DMo a few weeks to fully integrate - so far he has looked good and bad, but he is playing and is over 7 feet tall - and he is moving well......so did he fail that physical or did the Rockets just decide he was not worth the hassle?

Tj was on the floor at the final minutes of the game while Dmo was sitting at the bench?

Oh the drama.

 

In his last 3 games, Dmo had scored totally 3 points for NO.

That's exactly the same Bobby Brown contributed to the Rockets in his last 3 games for the Rockets.

I never felt this good about thinking the Rockets can finally be a contender because now we have Bobby Brown, whose playing at the same level of Dmo.

 

But, after two games he was 2-2 on 3 pointers.

That may be sarcasm, but D-Mo is doing virtually nothing for the Pelicans since that first game. And they're not winning either. He's gonna come to regret screwing up a chance to make more money on a team 15 games ahead in the standings.

 

Oh, I think that is true for sure.

Well if we are to believe DMo failed his physical then he technically never had a chance to make any money on a team 15 games ahead of the Pels. In that scenario his only regret is failing to report the first time around and renegotiating his contract with DM.

 

Pelicans lost by 3. DMo only got 8 minutes. had he got the minutes T _ones got, DMO would have definitely put up better than 15/8/3/2 and Pelicans would have won.

Definitely. DMo was +5 and TJones was -2. Imagine how many points the Pelicans would have won if that idiot coach would just let DMo get TJones's minutes.

 

Dude is circling the drain.

 

Will you get the trust from your coach to put you in those minutes? That's a big question mark. Just like most of us feel KJ is a better player, but Brewer is taking all the minutes. Now, what do you think if KJ plays in Brewer's minutes? He will be definitely better stats-wise. From coach stand point, Brewer fits better to the game and so does T-Jones.

 

You guys are obviously not Rockets fans if you think Lin played badly. Thr box score didnt show it, but he did all the small things right to help the Pelicans win.

Leave LinMo alone.

 

It's only 3 games, but I think DMO is realizing just how good Harden made him and how easy it was to play with him. DMO is just not good enough to play with chump-ass teammates. Anderson and EGO are much better than DMO and they squandered some of their best years as Pelicans. AD is on another level and he can barley rise above.. what hope does DMO have?

DMO should have ate lunch with Harden more.

 

Thought somebody speculated that he went to NO because he was promised minutes? Guess not.

That's ok though, TJ is fools gold and as soon as DMo has a game as good as the last few TJ has had, we'll hear about how great he is again. Truth be told, they're both inconsistent role players that tease you with flashes of more and string together good stretchs of solid play only to deviate back to the mean with a few clunkers/disappearing acts. Funny thing is DMo has never put up better box score numbers than Jones, but nobody here is pining away about how we let him go for nothing. And that was the DMo with a healthy back.
