Does Atlanta need a Ryan Ander... nope. Can't do it. Not even for Ryno. Sorry Dwert.

Same ****, different (off)season with this guy. :D

Didn't he post videos last offseason of him "expanding his range"? Oh yeah...

Last offseason: WATCH: Dwight Howard Expanding Range, Hits 11-of-15 Mid-Range Shots
Lakers' Dwight Howard works to expand his shooting range
2010: Dwight Howard shows range with jumpers

I think we're at a point where nobody really considers/follows him anymore, no disrespect to him but yeah, he looks kinda irrelevant at this point, and he should blame no one else than himself.

Ryno is about 100000x more useful than Dwert.

Ryno at twice his current contract would be a better contract than Dwert for free.

Thank the basketball gods that he didn't take less money to be here if it was even offered. What a clown.

    2018 offseason:

Dwight "I'm looking forward to really competing for the point guard position this year, I've been working all summer on my passing and handles"

They guy can't even shoot a FT and he wants to work on 3pt shooting? Talk about trying to run before you can crawl.

So his solution to being a team player and adjusting his game to new era is to shoot 3s rather than set high picks and roll to the basket

Dude is like a child in his refusal to play high PnR

It drives me up the wall. Look at Capella, he looks like a stud next to James. If Dwight bought into that, he would be on some next level stuff. It's like James went to Dwert and said "let me help you" and Dwert took offense to that. I don't get it.

Maybe Dwight should work on adding the 1-point shot to his game first?

It's like a bunt, it doesn't get any runners on base but it does allow the offense to run the bases.

Or Shaq said something like "I never had to set picks for Kobe in order to score, Hakeem never did either. We just commanded the ball. PnRs for guys like Deandre Jordan."

So Dwight is now left fantasizing doing something new that Shaq never could do. Shoot with range.

Even if you take the fact that those are different eras out of the equation, anyone with half a brain knows Dwight doesn't have the footwork to be Dream or the power to be Shaq. Dwight needs to be Dwight. That's a guy who plays the PNR and elite defense. He CAN do both those things. Dwight was split up between his legacy and winning rings. Ultimately, he did neither of those two things correctly and is on course to be broke and an afterthought of the NBA in about 15 years. No one will bring him on to their NBA team to mentor, and when he can no longer play he will be worthless. His 18 kids will drain what little he will have left in his bank account too.

Edit: wow, I didn't mean to sound that sour. I hope I am wrong about Dwight but I have little to no faith.

Why not work on free throws instead? You know they are free right?

When they had the trio traitors of Snotty quitten, Tracy Tback and Dwight at the same time I almost puked.

Dwight leaves Rockets; signs with Hawks; unhappy with Hawks; will work on his 3pt shot.

tl;dr: Dwight is still a clown.
