Over exaggerating much? The situation wasn't working out and he came into the team expecting certain conditions which weren't met. If Houston told him he would be relegated into a PNR guy and Ben Wallace clone he would've never signed up with the team, I think it's understandable given that Dwight is only a human being he will pout and not play his best in that situation. When you make certain promises and not keep them, you expect a guy to still play with a lot of energy and enthusiasm? It was up to coaching staff and the FO to manage and massage egos in times like this, it's the difference between a guy like Dwight pouting, a guy like JJ leaving PHX and a guy like Iggy staying in a 6th man role when he didn't have to be. Dwight's actions during the offseason doesn't look like he was ******** on the team, he immediately told the team he was gonna decline his option to give them the most possible time to make their offseason plans and even took out a full page ad thanking the city, those are things he wouldn't do if he wanted to stick it to Houston. For example, Parsons' first comment upon signing with Dallas is how it's much cleaner than Houston was. Everybody played a part in the disaster last year, almost everybody quit on the team including Harden who came into the season out of shape, Mchale and JB who sucked at coaching and even Morey who didn't even try communicating properly with one of his franchise stars. To lump all of that on Dwight is just dumb.
What a load of crap. Funny how almost the entire team sided with Harden over this mess? Even guys like Terry were backing Harden. Just because you don't like Harden don't fabricate crap up. Dwight has left a ton of teams with a bad taste in their mouths and a lot of his ex-teammates hate his guts. Kobe, JJ Reddick,Nash, Nelson,Gasol, Terry and co have publicly blasted him.
gawd dammit!!! edit this post immediately! You know you can't say s#!t like that! Even alluding to a win is not good for the Rockets..
Dwights two best games resulted in losses. The two he played the most poorly in were wins. He did go 18/11 in a win, but vs SAC. Anyone else see a pattern?
Harden plays great every time, Houston sometimes wins, sometimes loses. That means Harden has no impact and winning games doesnt depend on him? LOL
Contrary to reports, Capela has not made Dwight obsolete. Dwight made Capela obsolete, McDaniels & Ariza both tried to meet up with Dwight but were denied.
Dwight ate well tonight. With the way he is playing there I feel bad he came here and wasted those 3 years... well not really that one PO run was worth it. Definitely one of my favorite moments as a Rockets fan in the last 16 years.
Dwert is averaging 17 ppg, 12.3 RPG, 2.0 blocks and 1.2 steals In 28 minutes per game His drating is 92 and his ortg is 114 Still immature though. Dumb fouls, techs, goal tending
And he's only making 3.5 million per more than Ryan Anderson, on only a 3-year contract. :/ too bad stuff didn't work out.
