Press and Morgan I like very much

But Leroux is my number one

The women looked much better in the second half of the game. I think they should take the group easily. And Solo looked like she will be ready to play and the distractions aren't bothering her. Wambach just needs to shake the rust off, she had two for sure gols that didn't end up in the back of the net.

I always smh when people here mention hot females but post no pictures. Mods should not hesitate to neg-rep and educate these posters, they're letting all the brehs down.

Jeez c'mon guys, let's talk about the matches, goals, what the players are doing on the field -in this thread.

Someone should create a thread in the hangout (like was done during the 2011 WC) to discuss who is the hottest, which girls you fancy on the various teams, etc. (Like Ambar Torres from Ecuador ;) )

Let's leave this one to actual World Cup talk.

The USA 's group is going to be really interesting to watch.
I'm already looking forward to the next round of matches between Nigeria-Australia and Sweden- USA.

    Beautiful gol by Montoya.

Well... we had it but we let it slip away. I hope we give our all against France and England. Dang. This was probably the weaker of the teams. :(

    Good game, Colombia.

I think most Mexican fans will start a #FueraCuellar movement if they don't reach the knockout rounds.

I can't believe Leo Cuellar has been the coach of the MexWNT for 17 years  and mostly no good results from it. I think the only bright spot was beating the USA to qualify to the 2011 Women's World Cup.

Yeah that's exactly what I was talking about. I think it's crazy that they're playing on turf. I cringe every time someone actually does slide. THANKS, FIFA!

I think the 22 year old is a weak spot. She's probably in a little over her head even if she has been a talent and will improve. The vets Wombat and cutie seemed to bring an added dimension there. Overall nobody really connected. Nice header on the line. That was terrific!

USA is still in 1st place currently.

After 2 games heading to the 3rd and final game before the start of the 2nd round, the standings are:

    1) USA 1-0-1, 4 pts.

    2) Australia 1-1-0, 3 pts.

    3) Sweden 0-0-2, 2 pts.

    4) Nigeria 0-1-1, 1 pt.

It looks more likely the USWNT will advance. Aussies and Swedish will battle for the 2nd spot.

 Wow, did not expect the Colombian girls defeating the heavily-favored French girls.

You called it in that game today.

Do not care too much who is hotter, soccer players are inferior to cheerleaders and other bunnies any way

Care about how women football improved over the years

Then they should not be on the team, there is no place for cowardice on a national team.

Rapino sucks she is so selfish and looks at her feet, the USA team would be better off with her on the bench.

Ughh, my wife and I have been saying this since the first game even though she scored twice. She misses so many open runners and just keeps dribbling and dribbling and then loses the ball most of the time.
