I will be considerably less interested in this season if Hoyer starts over Mallett, even if he is outperforming him in practice.
I'm saying if a guy outplays another guy consistently in camp he's probably better It isn't a hard concept. This is why Bob has them competing in camp Yet you will insist on making this twenty pages long by belaboring the point
Nope, but Mallett got his shot with the first unit today and by all accounts he looked pretty good. The top moment of the day was a 50 yard out route to Nuk for a TD.

Proud of them? Isn't that a little much? One has played 2 games for the Texans and the other one has played none.
Yeah, that seemed like an odd comment. I mean, proud of them for what? I'm sure if either of them perform well, Houston will be proud of them, but don't you kind of have to do something first to earn "pride"?

http://www.scout.com/fantasy/story/1570598-watch-how-losing-arian-foster-affects-texans. Mallett making more and more sense.
His ability to stretch defenses will be invaluable, if we have to start the year with Hoyer and no Foster....ugh.
My thoughts exactly. Hoyer has had time to showcase who he is. An average QB. Mallett has yet to really get a chance to shine. A cannon arm, 4 years of learning behind Tom Brady, learned how to cheat under Belichick and Brady. We need to keep him on a short leash and let him run. If things fall apart badly, we default to Hoyer. Shouldn't be a difficult choice. What if Marc Bulger never got injured and Kurt Warner never got his chance to play? Warner became the 3rd most accurate QB in NFL history, 2 SB apperances, won 1 of them along with MVP honors. Was originally undrafted and carried a clipboard for many years before that. Let's see what Mallett has under the hood before we decide to keep him in the garage forever.
i hate to be that guy to correct but it was trent green. =) what if angry jets linebacker doesn't knock out bledsoe. the coaching staff never puts in brady. bledsoe has the good years he had with buffalo with New England. brady goes into free agency with never having played a meaningful snap. after three years of finishing 8-8/9-7 with bledsoe coach bill bellichick gets fired but goes back to Cleveland. rams win back to back superbowls and patriot fans never get to become the douchie fans they are now.
I was at training camp yesterday and got to watch the last 45 minutes of practice. Mallet did not look very good. He was not very accurate, kept missing open receivers and also threw an interception. Hoyer looked more comfortable, made some nice plays and scored a td. I really want mallett to be the starter but I think hoyer is going to win the starting job.
