Clearly, hence the Astros being on it (as of last year), and the Rangers being left off.

Meh I hope he makes 15 starts a year in that bandbox and sweats his ass off with an era of 5 at home... And their stellar pen blows his winnable games.

Hey, let's all applaud the Rangers for giving up 6 players for a 31 year old, $23 million player with a 3.67 era. lulz. And to think you guys wanted to trade the farm for that guy.

Whoever runs the Rangers is just as dumb as Cuban. Dallas sports will suck for an eternity.

I don't know all the guys. Is it a huge haul? Harrison hasn't shown much since the injury (and the one before that)

There's a difference between where we are, and where the Rangers are.

There's also a difference between our core players, and the Rangers core players.

Lastly there's a difference between our farm and their farm.

In the end, would have been a good move for the Astros... but its a WTF move for the Rangers... and the Astros will benefit from having a division foe bottom-out with high priced talent (with now less upcoming talent).

Phillies just got a HAUL. Rangers just mortgaged a lot of their long term potential for the next couple of years, which doesn't make much sense given their roster composition..

OF with tools...I'd compare to somewhere between Phillips and Derek fisher in our system. The number 2 catching prospect in baseball and a top young arm. Then 3 others not as relevant.

Rangers are old, big name players are Hamilton, Beltre and Prince.

We instead the top players are all young, Correa, Springer, Altuve.

Our pitching is young and good, their pitching is old, or at least, not young and coming of major injuries

Williams might be a better prospect than Phillips. Thompson is top 50. Alfaro has huge potential. They did well.
