Cashner since the all star break, one game was called in the 4th due to rain and he was also dominating that game. He's like my 7th starter on my keeper league so I watch. 102 K's in 113 innings, still young, from Conroe although his injury history scares me and I believe he's arbitration eligible after this yesr.

I would cream my pants if we got Kimbrel. One team I really hope doesn't get him is the Yankees. They'd easily have the best bullpen in the league. I like Ross, although his command can be very shaky. Cashner is solid, he's much better than his stats show.
I don't understand how the Astros brass can look at this club and not see a bat upgrade like a Gomez or CarGo or Lind as our top need. We have far too many nights like tonight where we struggle to score any runs
agreed. the offense with all the home run power is too often Feast or Famine. Either its 6+ runs like last night, or it's 0-2 runs in a nail biter.
