    well my season is f'ed

    12 team league

we changed the scoring AFTER week 1 because too many people complained so we all drafted under the old rules which heavily skewed scoring in favor of QBs. 6PT passing TDs, 25 pass yards/point -- WR/RB - 20 yards/point and no partial scoring either.

    first pick: Charles
    second pick: P. Manning
    third pick: Alshon

Charles was big for me but now gone I just dropped Manning no reason for me to feel he will be magical all of a sudden. I was able to grab Bortles and Tyrod but will have to drop one for their bye weeks next week.

my RBs are a disaster - I was lucky with Ivory but after that I have Randle (picked up C.Mike just in case) WRs - I have SSSr but dropped him because I needed someone to actually play when I heard "fractures in back" - lesson learn the dude is inhuman but someone picked him up again. Landry and Jordan Matthews are my other two wideouts and Landry has been ok but this isnt PPR and Matthews like all Eagles has been very bad. I picked up LaFell so there is some hope there and I picked up C.West but he looked pretty bad this past week I am hoping he improves as the season goes on OR if C.Mike does become the #1 and only option behind that Dallas Oline.

I am somehow 5-1 and won 5 in a row but most of that has been on luck I've won one week by less than two points and one a week where I would have lost to any other team that week except the one I was playing. For once I am that guy tied for first (way behind on tie breaker though) but has like the #7th most points scored in the 12 team league. Usually I am the guy with second most points scored and last place.

Gotta bench Alshon this week b/c of the Bye, who should I play instead?

    Steve Smith @ ARI
    Travis Benjamin @STL
Dez Bryant @ NYG (any news on if he is playing this week?)

I can also slide one into the flex instead of CJ2k

Should I burn my #1 waiver spot for Stefon Diggs, James Starks, or neither?

    WR's: B-Marsh, Snead, Kendall Wright
    RB's: Le'Veon, Gore, K. Williams, C. Sims, Ryan Mathews

Trying to decide if it's time to give up on Jordan Matthews. I can drop him this week and pick up John Brown (Ari.) but I'm not sure if I should or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

How many people in the league? How often does waiver priority change?

Pick up John Brown, but try not to let go of Matthews. If there is a change at QB in Philly, Matthews could regain his low WR1 status. Sanchez was QB when Matthews took off.

If I could drop someone else I would. But my other receivers are AJ Green, Randall Cobb, and Jeremy Maclin. I don't WANT to give up Jordan Matthews, but he's been a total bum for the last month, and John Brown shouldn't even be on the waiver wire right now. So I'm extremely conflicted.

No one on your bench that's a non WR? This week especially could benefit from a JB pickup. Maclin has to clear concussion protocol and AJ Green is on bye. But if I had to chose right now, I'd drop Matthews for Brown. Bradford and the need to spread the wealth is not good for Matthews fantasy-wise. Chip also recently said he's still sticking with Bradford. Brown has the same spread-the-wealth issue in Arizona, but he's actually produced. Can't say the same for Matthews.

12 man league and waivers are in order. So if I used my #1 tomorrow I'll drop to #12. Not sure if either is worth it. I've been OK shuffling WR2's so far.

Someone please tell me that dropping Karlos Williams for Christine Michael was not a Taco move?

I don't know anything about him other than he is starting against the Giants this weekend. Any insights on him?

The guy is for some reason believed to be a beast who just hasn't "put it all together yet", despite being in the league for 5 years now. The supposed greatness of the Dallas offensive line combined with the peculiar hype around Michael's reputation as a potential breakout star is recipe for more disappointment. But that didn't stop me from adding him in leagues where I have Randle.

Id definitely drop Tannehil, but you need him for your bye this week. To me, it's either Lacy, Michael or Matthews. I'm probably not of the popular opinion, but I never liked Lacy as a top RB even before the season. I'd drop him if it were me. But so many experts say he'll turn it around. It's sacrilegious to drop a depth chart RB1 for a WR2, but I would do it in this case. Maybe you could pull of a trade for a RB upgrade involving Lacy and Eifert or Kelce.

Uh oh. Well, if Karlos wasn't hurt, I would've never dropped him but C.Mike is just picking up hype and I'm on that train now. Guess we will see. Right now, my team looks like this:

    QB:Wilson
    RB 1/2: Ivory, Yeldon
    WR 1/2: Hopkins, Allen
    TE: Gronkowski
    K: Hauschka
    DEF: Denver
BN: Big Ben, D. Jackson, LaFell, CJA, C.Mike, K. Wright

How would you rate this team for ROS?

You might check to see if there are any commas available on the wire.

Wilson has definitely cooled off so far this season. I expect things will get better for them once Beast Mode is back on track, and you'll also have Big Ben coming back too. Ivory / Hopkins / Gronk is very solid and your K/DEF give you a little added edge too. If you can find a consistent RB2 there is no reason you won't be contending at the end of the season.

I am really struggling on who to start for my flex position in my big money standard yahoo league. This week is even bigger considering im in first place whilst playing second place.

    Carlos Hyde v Sea (thur)
    Jordan Mathews @ Car
    Isiah Crowell @ StL
    Christine Michael @ NYG

I honestly don't know who to run with. Mathews has been crap lately. Hyde has been getting stuffed with stacked boxes and that's not likely to change against seattle. Crowell is probably the safest for about 6-10 points.

Right now im starting Michael. I guess its a combination of the hype and he seems to have the biggest possible reward but also the biggest risk. Ive been going Mathews but only getting 5 points each week and hell Michael cant really do worse.

    Thoughts?

    TIA. Will Rep.

I don't like Jordan Matthews chances of having a big game against Josh Norman. Hyde is questionable, but he could be worth a look if Bobby Wagner is out again for Seattle. Crowell is in a split backfield so he will at least get some touches. Michael is a complete mystery and they are starting a new QB.

I would probably roll the dice with Michael since there is the most upside potential there.
