That's what I was thinking, but just not sure if I can bring myself to rooting against my team. Also I forgot to mention I have Charcandrick West (@ Minny). Still Yeldon over him? And for your question: Who is your current TE? I don't trust Jimmy Graham as a top 2 tier TE this season. He's 13th among TE's targets, and 9th in Red-zone targets. If you can get him on the cheap for bench players, it's worth the though. If you are hurting for a TE, I suggest adding Gary Barnridge. He's huge red-zone target and Josh McCown seems to love him. He's getting more overall passing targets and Redzone targets than Graham.
Is anyone plugging in Martavus Bryant this week? I have room for him in the lineup in 2 leagues but a little dubious
I think its pretty obvious that Vick is a very bad QB right now for the Pittsburgh system. Running the wildcat with everything on the line tells you all you need to know about how much confidence they have in him. The Cardinals are likely to get up on them big which does mean Vick will be forced to air it out. Arizona is also elite is defending the TE which means Vick will have to look deeper down the field. Bryant could be like Wheaton this past week and haul in one long TD that makes his day, but right now I wouldn't start him until Big Ben is back (hopefully next week).
I have not seen West/Knile play this season so given the lack of knowledge on those two, it's a high risk/high reward kind of deal to play West. I have Gronk right now so I'm looking to see if it's worth a gamble plugging in Graham in the Flex spot. I tried picking up Barnridge but I was last on the waiver wire. Thanks for the input!
Forsett for sure Who should I stream this week at QB , Alex Smith against minn or Kaepernick with balt ... leaning towards picking up kap
thanks for the help! I would pick up Kap - mostly because Baltimore has given up the second highest number of points to opposing QBs
Kaepernick is an interesting play this week. Baltimore is already poor against the pass and Will Hill is now lost for the season so Charles James is now on the active roster. This is a spot in which Kaepernick may be able to shine. Don't forget both his starting receivers used to be Ravens.
I was able to dump Jordan Cameron for Antonio Gates in a couple of leagues. Tennessee is one of the worst teams at defending the TE so if Cameron is healthy this may be one of the few weeks he's worth starting.
Cameron also gets a healthy dose of targets. I'd play him, but to me this is a make or break week for whether he's going to be viable long term for if it's time to cut him loose.
Already scooped him up wherever he was available in 10-12 team leagues. Hopefully he is fully healthy.
Nice to see you picking him up early too. I had a moment where I felt like I Taco'd it but I have 3 QBs right now and it's pointless to keep all of them. All aboard the LaFell train!
Three QB isn't always a bad situation early in the season if they all have value. Usually QB is the easiest position to trade. I had one league where I was hanging onto Brees, Dalton and Mariota until I needed another RB and dropped Mariota.
Wilson, Mariota, and Big Ben for me. Was pushing hard to trade Wilson this week but no one was biting. Ended up dropping Mariota for LaFell today. Hears hoping to either Wilson stepping up and/or Big Ben being the same Big Ben prior to his knee injury.
Yea, he's second in targets on the dolphins, but that other TE always gets the red zone targets. It'll be interesting to see how the new phins coach uses him. I believe he was previously a TE.
Cameron is obviously involved with the offense, but his injury history is a big concern so when I had the chance to pounce on Gates I took it.
