Kaminsky going for 20 and 11 against Towns and Cauley-Stein definitely makes me more of a believer in him. Both should be good players, IMO.

Same. I wanted Monday to be really special. Now I probably won't even bother watching it. Admittedly I'm not much of a college basketball fan, but had Kentucky won you probably would have seen a lot more casual viewers tuning in.

The calls looked fair. The most questionable one was actually an and one that went against Wisconsin that could have easily been called another charge.

Overall I think tonight's game was great for college basketball. Kentucky's talent and athleticism lost out to experience and determination. Kentucky's one-and-done strategy of recruiting five-star recruits and sending them to the NBA after 12 months backfires when their 18-19 year-olds must guard 21-22 year-olds. It's nice to see a program that develops players into a team defeat raw individual talent.

Uh the shot clock violation that wasn't called?

To be fair the refs were horrendous in calling the game properly for both teams but the more outrageous calls seemed to go against Kentucky.
Regardless, UK should have and could have still won.

I dont get the "smug" thing. I never thought he came across smug post game throughout the tournament. He always seemed to come across expecting more from his team and hasn't he given props to every team they've played against -before and after the games-or am I mistaken?

Dekker looks like a zero calorie Durant out there though. Is Frank a center or foward in the NBA?

How many 1 and done's started the game and were on the court for the final few minutes of the game for Kentucky? No more than plenty of other teams across the country. I believe WCS is a Junior and the Harrison twins are sophomores. That's three players. Poythress was a starter on that team and is a sophomore. Dakari Johnson is a sophomore. KATowns and Lyles are possible one and done's but who's to say before it's time to declare? Just like how the Harrison twins, WCS and Poythress came back last year, I wouldn't count out KATowns and Lyles returning...especially after this defeat.

This nonsense about Cal and 1 and done guys would have made sense years ago but not with this Kentucky team yet I keep hearing folks mention it and it's not true.

It wasn't so much talent and athleticism losing out to experience and determination. Kentucky has experienced players just like Wisconsin does. Wisconsin has talented players just like Kentucky does. Bo Ryan did a better job coaching his team to a win and Bo Ryan's team played sharper, better and actually ran sets that worked towards the end of the game.

Kentucky on the other hand. Ugh. The Harrison twins(Love those Fort Bend ISD/H-tine guys but) lost it with I think it was 4 or 5 mins left in the game and they took several ill-advised shots that ended up missing completely, instead of trying to force the ball into KATowns. I don't give a damn who is defending Towns, at that point in the game you have patience and feed the big man. If you lose the ball trying to throw the entry pass then I think that's liveable. The shots they took will haunt them whether they come back or go pro. C'est la vie.

Probably a stretch forward. He's pretty skilled. Doubt he's big enough to hang as a center full time.

Ah yes. Great day. I'm from right outside of Indy myself. I. Am. A. Kentucky. Hater. Sorry, people, I just am. Im typically not like this, but when it comes to UK...it is sweet.

Make no mistake, I believe that was a very good Kentucky team and appreciate what they accomplished. That said, no way you could call them the best or one of the best teams ever. They aren't, they weren't.

Yes there were blown calls on both sides. Two trips in a row UK got jobbed, but they still didn't close. The missed slap against Wisconsin was pretty ridiculous. Just can't say much more than the refs were awful.

IU 76 team still the last team to go undefeated. This and IU landing a big today made for a great day.

Andrew Harrison on Kaminsky: "F**k that ni**a."

He's going to regret saying that.

Anyway, it was a great game. I'm looking forward to Duke and Wisconsin. Kaminsky vs. Okafor will be really entertaining to watch.

I also thought Calipari was outciached in the last few minutes, particularly in how Kentucky ran their offense.

I was right when I picked the field over Kentucky

Easy money (although I nearly conceaded my bet)

Thank God. Now I won't have to hear about Kentucky being the GOAT for the next 20 years.

Might be building up a defense so I'm not let down tomorrow, but I fully expect Wisconsin to win it, and fairly easily. Duke played very well against them earlier this year, but Wisconsin was awful from deep, and they've been hot the past 2 games - will likely carry over to Monday.

Winslow is Duke's wild card - he'll be a difficult matchup and if he's on, Duke will have a chance.
