The best No. 9 seed ever in the summer league to win a championship.

Really disappointed in the Rockets summer league this year because of the absence of Dekker, Capela and Johnson. Major bummer. Glad we got a chance to see Harrell play some though. And Alan Williams looks like a solid prospect as a 3rd team C.

It was based on some bullcrap quarter point system.

If you have same W-L records with other team and there are more than 2 teams with the same record, head to head record doesn't matter.

Instead, how many quarters you have won matters most other than W-L record.

The Rox often jumped out to a huge lead after 1st Q, hence we are not winning many quarters as the other team did.

Plus the fact that we played the hardest schedule in all teams, we played Tor, Phx, DLS and their records are 3-0, 2-1, 2-1, combined for 7-2, with 2 losses from the Rox.

And all those 3 teams I believe made the top 8 but we ended up being the 9th seed.

But hey, its the summer league, have a chance to play one extra game should be better for us to evaluate the young players.

The Bucks is the worst SL team.
The only NBA players of the team are Inglis who is coming of a surgery and Vaughn who is the 17th pick and imo is a blackhole chucker. Also JOB who doesn't play until now and is the worst player in the NBA and hopefully will get cut soon. Gutierez who will get waived in a few weeks will also play and he is a cheap vet min pg who plays hard defence.

The funniest thing to me is that the D league select team earned the 8th seed and the "bye" yet we creamed them.

is anyone worth seeing playing from our side? Montrez hasn't shown me much. I feel like Alan Williams will make a good vipers addition. I know what I'm getting from Capella but my biggest curiosity is Nick Johnson to see how much he has improved and whether it looks like he might be able to handle spot minutes and Sam Dekker from an overall talent evaluation standpoint.

    Thank you for the information
Interesting. Is this some sort of experiment that could be implemented in the NBA?

You're being way too critical of a summer league team. Like the one fan who hollers obscenities at a high school game because some of the bench players aren't skilled enough to win, lol.

This will never be used in NBA regular or playoff games.

The purpose of this kind of stupid rules is to reduce the possibilities of garbage time and encourage teams to have some incentive to win quarter by quarter even when they will be down big.

Also, in summer league games, all players can have 10 fouls(!!) as to encourage young players to play harder and not worry about contact much.

No way the 10 fouls rule can be applied to normal games.

ah nono. I don't even watch much because I dont care.
Just gave some input on the opponent in case someone is interested. The only interest to me in the Bucks SL is to see if Inglis can walk. That's my main concern because right now he is the primary back up at SF.
