They took advantage of a great situation (opposing team injuries) like Obama did of a greater situation (people were disgusted with Bush)...... Both are great opportunists...

Nah they didn't forget because Lakers won more championships. As I say, if the Warriors win a few more then people will brush it aside. But if this is the only one this core wins then yeah, people will always question it. Especially if say they play a healthy elite west team next year and get dominated. People will say "Ah see, that would have happened last year."
Depends on what this Warriors club does from this point forward. No one really rags on the Spurs for their (half)title in 1999 since they won 4 more. But before that 2003 run when they knocked off the Lakers, I remember Phil Jackson was publicly labeling them an asterisk champion. Same with the Rockets once they won their 2nd straight in 1995. A lot of folks shut the hell up about the 1994 team being some sort of illegitimate champion. If they never come close to this level of success again, then it's gonna be hard to not question how great of a team they really were(at least in the postseason).
Yeah but nobody is calling that Lakers team and all time great team. Them and that year was pretty forgettable.
Yes, but there's a reason no one gives that Lakers team crap. Because they successfully defended that title a year later. And in the process, they defeated an up-and-coming OKC team, the always great Steve Nash-led Suns, and the Celtics who had won the title(and 66 regular season games) 2 seasons earlier. And let's not forget they were in the Finals in 2008 and lost to that Celtics team in 6 games. 3 straight Finals appearances and 2 straight titles? If the Warriors have a run like that, I'll never question this championship ever again.
We have a place for political crap and it ain't here, with all due respect. I call it The Basement, aka D&D. Talk all the political crap you want down there, but Clutch definitely doesn't want it anywhere else. Just an FYI.

Grats to the Warriors to many people in here salty. I dont know how anyone can hate on LeBron after his individual performance in the Finals,it was amazing to watch.
Unfortunately, I wonder if they'll even be given the chance. A lot of the role players on that team are set for a big payday. It's going to be expensive to maintain the roster as is. And even harder to improve with the rest of the conference.
Iguodala: "I want to be just like Steph (Curry) when I grow up." am i drunk or is it late? what the heck did he mean?
