We could possibly be getting our PG via trade. Especially since Denver drafted a PG. Maybe Lawson...

Close this thread if felt necessary. If not, then Imo i'm not a fan of this pick. Sam Dekker has been very inconsistent at the college level, and I don't feel as if they should have spent this pick on a Small Forward, considering this team still has depth to fill at other positions.

i like the pick. a team with championship ambitions doesn't draft a point guard at 18 because they "need" one. our point guard needs to be an nba vet.

He acted like he knows he's going to be traded and was trying to keep a straight face.

Agreed, as much as I like Brewer I think Dekker can provide a more consistent performance on both sides of the ball. Wisconsin Badgers have been good to Houston sports! Need a PG with the 32nd.

I like the pick. Smart player with a junp shot. The type of guy this team needs.

    Dueces Brewer.

Do the Rockets have a single draftee on the roster? Jones doesn't count... He is about to be traded.

I can't believe someone is moaning about the pick. Morey knows best. You don't even know half Morey knows about incoming moves and such. Morey is great strategist, don't you even dare question this, or any, of his pick or decisions.

Best part about th pick is seeing him compared to a bunch of white guys who aren't anything alike.

Looks to me one our forwards most likely Jones not coming back and Morey is confident that he's got a PG on deck for the Rockets imo

Morey is great at getting good players in the draft not great players. I wonder if passing on Tyus and Grant will bite us in the ass. It always seems the people picked after the Rockets turn into very good players. Oh well I like Dekker.

This strikes me as a very good pick. He'll either play well in summer league and become an asset... Or develop into a Brewer/Parsons like player first off the bench.

    Me likely.
