Longhorns fans don't have leverage on hating on Aggies last few years, UT hasn't done anything lately & missing out on big time QB's. A&M, Baylor getting all the QB's.

I went last year for Ole Miss/Bama...The tailgate environment is pretty crazy, a bunch of tents all packed in together, its like 1 big tailgate. They do have some stupid rule in which you are not allowed to carry cans around so all beer must be poured into a plastic cup. Oh, and the woman are prevalent and all dolled up ;)

Is A&M still in College Station? Is it still 98% Aggies? That's all the leverage anyone needs.

I don't live in College Station, city wise ATX >>>>> CS. I love ATX as a city. But Aggies are my rooting interest.

Interesting Nugget: Jim Harbaugh & Urban Meyer were born in the same hospital 6 months apart near Toledo, OH.

Aggies don't have any leverage until they get in and win a big, legit bowl game.

Spoiler Alert: Neither of you Aggies or Longhorns have "leverage" right now in the state of Texas.

Aggies and longhorns aren't allowed to take shots at each other until they finally decide to play again.

I wonder if that game no longer being played has anything to do with both schools taking a back seat in the state of Texas to the likes of Baylor and TCU. I imagine it was a pretty good recruiting tool for both schools.

On field success yes, but A&M has out recruited all 3 schools since moving to the SEC.

Oh I didn't say sh@t about football, nor do I really care. I did not spend my college years in Bryan. I was just saying that leverage is a relative thing.

I'm a Hornfrog fan this year.

Watching the TCU - Ole Miss bowl game last year is possibly the funniest football game I've ever seen, it was like the Globetrotters v the Generals. It's a shame the playoff guys didn't even invite the best team in the country.
