    Weren't they undefeated a year (or two) ago, but were ineligible? I think it was Meyer's first year.

    Pretty crazy how Ohio State manages to stay atop CFB all the time.

    yep. i know oregon didn't have their best players but i don't know if it would have made a difference. zeke and the coaching disparity was just too much.

    They get ALL the best players from Ohio, plus a few good ones from out of state too. Almost no competition from other schools for Ohio players. They got a unique set of circumstances there.

    Oh! Come let's sing Ohio's praise,
    And songs to Alma Mater raise;
    While our hearts rebounding thrill,
    With joy which death alone can still.
    Summer's heat or Winter's cold,
    The seasons pass, the years will roll;
    Time and change will surely show
    How firm thy friendship O-hi-o.

    These jolly days of priceless worth,
    By far the gladdest days of earth,
    Soon will pass and we not know,
    How dearly we love O-hi-o.
    We should strive to keep the name,
    Of fair repute and spotless fame,
    So, in college halls we'll grow,
    To love thee better, O-hi-o.

    Tho' age may dim our mem'ry's store,
    We'll think of happy days of yore,
    True to friend and frank to foe,
    As sturdy sons of O-hi-o.
    If on seas of care we roll,
    'Neath blackened sky, o'er barren shoal,
    Tho'ts of thee bid darkness go,
    Dear Alma Mater O-hi-o.

    IMO, game would have been a contest for sure. One thing that bugs me is why Royce Freeman disappeared. Regardless, Ohio State is clearly the best team in college football. I'm no Ohio State fan but this squad is incredible. The thought every one of their key players returns is crazy.

    I imagine Braxton Miller will announce where he's going in a few days.

    You think? OSU owned the line both ways, seems to me. He wasn't that bad at all -- not sure what he could have done.

    Agreed. He didn't play up to his usual talents, but he wasn't terrible either.

    OSU is a tough, hard nosed, gritty team. They earned it.

    Yup, Mariota is a system QB...great athlete though, but his talents won't get him anywhere in the NFL as a QB.
