Seems like Devenski has had a stellar season--what's the deal with him? Why isn't he talked about more?
Yeah, Reed needs to be in CC. Im very curious to see how he develops as he moves up the ladder. I need something to be excited about regarding 1B for the Astros.
I think he needs at least another full year in the system before we start to consider him being in Houston. Still has a long swing, mediocre numbers against the good pitching prospects, etc.

I thought Breg doesn't hit HR's? I can see him zooming through this system if he is all that he says he is...
Sorry. Meant to type "they". I know some in here don't think he's got a high enough ceiling, but it's also hard to find somebody with a high enough floor coming out of college that has peripherals that can easily translate to MLB.
That's what exactly everybody said about JJ Watt. Smh I really like Bregman and I think he will be a good player for us next year when he gets called up. He has the tools to be an above average player and the MLB draft is a crapshoot in every sense.
Casual fans think shi!tloads of hr's or k's are requisite of any top draft pick, or else he ain't worth a flip.

I posted about this a while back, but Jason Martin is a darling of the BaseballProspectus PECOTA projection system. Martin doesn't have enough minor league experience under his belt for those projections to be very accurate yet (and, truth be told, the PECOTA projection system does no better than traditional scouts when it comes to projecting future production), but his 19y/o season is comparable to guys like Michael Brantley and Andrew McCutcheon at the same age.
About time. Yeah...what took them so long with Farrell? EDIT - Never mind...thought they were already promoting Farrell.
