Is Devenski supposed to be good? Saw he's having quite the year in AA..what's his ceiling/projection?
From the bottom rung of the minor league ladder: The DSL Blue team started off with 10 no-hit innings and defeated the Indians 2-1 in 12 innings. The first 5 innings were perfect from Hector Perez. Andy PiƱeda went 2-5 with a double, an RBI single, and stole his 6th base of the season.
If he sticks as a starter, he'll probably be a back-of-the-rotation type. Doesn't have as much mileage on his arm compared to pitchers his age, because he was a converted shortstop. Honestly, he should be in Fresno right now.

Do you really just not know what the **** you are talking about, or should we all treat you with kid gloves, like that kid in kindergarten who you had to keep from eating all the crayons?

That does not necessarily translate to TJ surgery. Too many people try to claim overwork in college...the real overwork is the fact that pitchers are playing year round throughout high school, not some single isolated 8 day stretch.
Kind of like last year, I think they want to make sure he ends an outing on a positive note whenever they have the chance. When they did it last season, it seemed to work out well as he improved as the season went on.
It might not but it also could be a factor. Just wanted to give y'all a snippet of information that could be part of the reason.
