17+ million prizepool is just 25% of what people spent online in couple months to buy in-game items and support this event.

Actually I just realized that Lin is probably being sneaky and only counting his on-court time in the denominator of total points scored. So in effect, he's discounting all of game 5 where he only played 9 seconds or so of the OT.

Why kill the fun so soon?

Jeremy Lin left a Bag o' Idiots wide open.

    Might as well enjoy some.

Special LOL @ "Harden/Howard most definitely missed you last year".

So lin fans don't bother to check lins stats to see if he's right?

He could tell these guys to jump in a pool with no water and they would do it

The Charlotte Hornets are the NBA equivalent of a pool without water.

He should have given a pc response or one of his proverbs.
This truly bothered him if had to respond like that.

Yes. That really rustled his jimmies.

Pain and frustrations of not being wanted and having to settle for.....and in Charlotte.

Oh my goodness, even I remember Lin did not played much of the OT in game 4. How can he score if he's in for one second at the end of OT in game 4?

I also remember he made that big play in OT in game 3 by hustling for the ball and passing it to a open Troy Daniels for the 3pts to seal that win. I would say an assist counts as another 3pts in OT and the other OTs too.

I did know any real rocket fan like the one's posting in this thread. I really need to come back each day just to laugh and point out how little guys like Tinman, Zboy, and other like them knows about sports.

Hmmm .. good point. That's actually fair to me to only account for his stats when he's on the floor.

Using NBA WOWY (link), I took a look at points scored in those overtime games when Lin was on the floor. He scored 11 points and the team scored 24 points. That's in a span of 10 minutes total, 18 possessions total.

11/24 equals "half" if you round to 1 significant digit. :)

He probably heard this from Daryl Morey or some other stats guy in an exit interview and is just repeating it here. I don't blame the guy for being a bit defensive with all the criticism that gets thrown at him. Whatever his faults may be as a basketball player,I don't see a need for all these character attacks.

    You're a certified idiot and a moron.

Since when does an assist by Lin count as 3 points to Lin?

I knew all Lin fans were dumb, delusional and absolute bottom of society but this is taking stupidity to the next level. You must have several neurons and chromosomes missing

Rockets added by subtracting Lin END OF STORY. I say let the Hornets fans worry about his sorry play and ignore these LOFs, they are soon to be extinct anyways.

Now I understand why they have drug testing in these competitions. Legit money needs legit competition.

The critical point is that his turnovers were at the worst time in the game as Clutch pointed out.

The fact that our backup point guards this year were superior ball handlers and shooters in the post season shows that Morey did the right thing by giving up a pick to get rid of Lin.

old ass jason terry > lin.

you're basically like that lin fan pretending to be a 60 year old astros fan

    except backwards

    it's pretty boring.

at least the LOFs surprise us with their stupidity.

I guess you just started following basketball. Things Terry has done that Lin will never accomplish:

    -Won an NCAA Championship
    -Won an NBA championship
-Won 6th Man of the Year
-Averaged more than 15 points for 12 seasons (over 19 points per season 3 times). Lin has never hit 15 points a game.
-3rd most 3 pointers in NBA history
    -Career average of >50% EFG
