Can't lie I really wanted to see him on Dallas surrounded by 3 38% 3fg shooters and a top notch roll man. That plays to his strengths. We would have gotten to see his potential then.

Ok Woj was reporting just a few days ago that $2.8 mill Mavs were offering Lin was under market so they were trying to negotiate a sign and trade with Lakers

This is clearly low price for him. Probably fallout from DeAndre breaking his agreement to go to Dallas at 11th hour.

Wrong on so many levels. Hope it works out for him but damn

FWIW he will also be playing alongside Jeremy Lamb who will be making more than him and I think Troy Danieis

Sources say MJs ability to beat Lin one on one was the biggest reason he was signed.

    Jeremy Lin 林書豪
They want me at both the 1 and the 2, as well as running lots of pick and rolls. Great fit and opportunity!!

Lance Stephenson's departure leaves them with a hole at the 2- Lamb might be slotted for this too. Mo Williams spot as backup seems to be one Lin is taking over for most part

Not a bright move imo but who knows what offer did Lin ever get instead Lin himself?

He stressed that the major reason of choosing Hornets was because he believed that Coach Clifford would let him play his game aka lots of pnr. If this is truly his rationale, I will be very disappointed.

Well as a Lin fan myself, best wishes to him for every success in the upcoming season.

The Hornets were clearly one of the few (maybe 2) teams that showed ANY interest as evidenced by his contract. He got rejected by the Mavs:

Asian signing Asian is wrong, because Blacks don't sign Blacks, and we all know Whites can't sign Whites only.
