Two good shooting games with a win and lost for Jlin. Base on the past, I would expect 8 points and a tough shooting evening of 1-7 tonight. However, I also expect a good defensive effort and solid overall game.

His new shooting style is a work in process.

Good for Lin, the Asian (Viet) in me gave him an imaginary nod of approval.

My 6yo son's favorite players are Curry and Lin. Curry is an obvious one, and when asked why he liked Lin he couldn't answer. I know it's because he relates to him because they are both Asian, even though my son doesn't fully grasp the concept.

Hey, Nelly approved the performance haha.

    Great game vs SA!!!

I was watching and thought, " wow, Lin has improved".

Then, I checked his stats and it appears the opposite is true.

Horrible shooting percentages, horrible ast/to ratio

Glad he balled last night, though.

If the dad is a known clutchfan like you, then the dna of clutch city is in your son, even though he's too young to understand true heroes

Oh it is. He is Rockets fan for sure. The wife and I made it clear. "You can like other teams and players, but in THIS HOUSEHOLD, we always cheer for the Rockets." He goes to bed at 9pm, so most days he doesn't get to see the end of the games unless I allow it. But he'll ALWAYS ask first thing in the morning, "Did the Rockets win?"

    Speaking of true heroes:
The first NBA legend he learned of was Olajuwon. He actually might not really know who Jordan is still...oh well, at least I handled the important stuff.

You are teaching your son the difference between good and evil.
    That's beautiful.

it could be because he likes Lin's underdog story. Or perhaps he aspires to get into Harvard and sees Lin as a role model. Or maybe he likes Lin's hair styles.
