Now you've totally stooped down to Tinman's levels, I'm already trying to guess the Chinese food dish this time.
Yeah, every time you post I just read you saying I'm a loser obsessed with tinman and that's why 60% of my posts on Clutchfans are about tinman. Awkward.
Already said plenty of times I'm on this thread to have fun at Tinman's expense. You can join the party if you wish.
OK, racism police. You have fun with ZMama aka Tinman on Chinese food. You can take it to ForumX and BBS Hangout with Tinman on this one. Take him where he belongs. Stay here with him. Improve this thread for everybody's sake.
LOL! Meltdown continues. Meanwhile, from Portland fans... Thank you Jeremy! You tried once again! You da best!
Coming from the one frantically digging up gifs ... Need I repost this to mock you again? ------------------------------- Thought I mentioned to Portand playoff series. Do you really need me to re-post this to mock you again? --------------------------- And if you go back to that series against Portland, there were 3 OT games. In the 3 OT periods, the Rockets scorers (total over 3 games) were Dwight with 12, Lin 11, Troy Daniels 9, Harden 6 and Garcia 1. If Lin was a total mental midget, why would he be the 2nd leading scorer on the Rockets during 3 playoff OT periods, scoring almost double Harden's points. Despite being the 4th option on the Rockets behind Harden, Dwight and Parsons (who scored 0 points). And actually, Lin's 11 points in the OT periods were scored in only 2 games effectively, as he only played 1 second (really) in the 1st OT game, which is the only OT game the Rockets lost in the playoffs. And Beverley had a turnover with 2 seconds (ball stolen by Wesley Matthews) left in this game, Rockets down 3. But that is conveniently forgotten also. So effectively Lin only played two playoff OT periods against Portland. And he scored 5 more than Harden and 1 less than Dwight over 3 OT periods. He shot 4/6 FGs and 3/3 FTs in OTs. And the two games McHale actually puts Lin in for OT the Rockets won, and the game he didn't put Lin in the Rockets lost and Beverley made a turnover with 2 sec left and the Rockets down 3. Oh, and Beverley fouled Wesley Matthews with 7 sec left in OT for 2 FTs that put Portland up 3. So your point about Lin not being able to play under pressure in the playoffs really reflects one turnover at the end of one game. The exact one turnover Beverley had with 2 sec left and the Rockets down 3, and the exact one turnover Harden would have had if Lin had not scooped by his lost ball, drove in, and passed it back out to Troy Daniels for an assisted 3. Other than that, Lin was actually the Rockets best playoff Overtime performer in the series against Portland when McHale actually put him in. And actually better than Harden. Harden was 2/9 on FGs and 2/2 on FTs in those 3 OT periods. ------------------ Playoff OT best player on Rockets. Pressure situation at its highest. ZBoy is coming to say those does not mean Jeremy Lin had impacted the playoff OT periods. He just did not have a bad game.
LOL @ n00bs not understanding. or shall we say pretending to not understand, what game/series changing turnovers are. Let's just put it this way. If Jeremy Lin wasnt the bonehead he was in that series, he wouldn't have been put on the trading block. Or shall I say, he would still have been a Rocket. I mean Daryl Morey did not notice how AWESOME Jeremy was in the OT?!?! OMG!!!! And if he was as awesome as some of these clowns have us believe, it would not have taken Morey a year to offload him. ...and then...he wouldnt have been off-loaded for a net negative. *laugh* Market dont lie. *tsk tsk* I know you have been trying to revise the events for two years now dananag78, but unfortunately NBA GMs disagreed with your conclusion. *chuckle*
If Morey didn't think he'd get Chris Bosh ... BTW, why don't you come up with a possession by possession breakdown of the Rockets play in that playoff series key moments, say OT and the last 5 minutes of 4th quarters which were close? You wouldn't want to. Cause you'd look pretty stupid. You prefer to do a one possession over 6 games breakdown of a player. To make you feel better.
Morey to Les after Jeremy Lin horror show against Blazers.... "This is why I didnt want him." LOL @ If Morey didnt want Bosh. Jeremy Lin was going to be off-loaded whther Bosh was coming here or not. In fact, Jeremy was on trading block after the Thunder series. You should have followed clutch's podcast. *laugh* *tsk tsk* But we all where you were.... LOL
You still haven't told me how Lin helped win three tight playoff games against Portland down the stretch and in OT. You can hide all you want. But unless you do a possession by possession breakdown of the Rockets play with 5 min left in the 4th quarters and OTs of the playoff series against Portland ... Rodman23 is going to be disappointed.
