There is absolutely no reason for Howard to do worse on D with Beverly and Terry than he does with Harden. Especially Terry, since Dwight-Terry combo usually comes in against the bench members when Harden sits. Dwight should post better defensive numbers with Terry because he's facing lesser opponent offensively. No excuse whatsoever.

There's a difference between a stat being perfect and a stat that's good enough to be useful.

Your "stats" aren't good enough to be useful.

And my argument is that an incompetent perimeter defender ruins team defense, regardless of the caliber of defensive anchor. Does that argument really need support? That's fundamental basketball. You learn that in pee-wee leagues...

not if you get 1 center to play defense for the team according to his logic. Its that persons fault we suck defensively if the perimeter guys don't hold up the first line of defense first.

    It's definitely useful.

    As I said, Harden-Capela and Harden-Motiejunas >> Harden-Dwight defensively.

    But, Dwight-Harden >> Dwight-Beverly, Dwight-Brewer and Dwight-Terry defensively.

Dwight is the one dragging Harden's defense down, not the other way around.

buy why the consistent pattern? if it's just random, why is Harden doing consistently better on defense without Howard? why does Howard consistently do worse on defense without Harden?

Hey Dwight this is your fault. Stop dragging Harden's defense down.

Especially the last play against chicago. It's Dwights fault stop dragging him down

You've got some nerve calling someone a DOF.

You are literally Harden's beard. Like a Beard beard, not the one's made of hair

im convinced you've never watched rockets basketball in your life, either that you're just absolutely clueless on what you're seeing. both probably true to some degree

That makes perfect sense. Howard is much bigger than Harden, and Harden must be unusually susceptible to Howard's gravitational pull. That explains why, on defense, Harden gives his opponent so much space. He doesn't want to, but he's being pulled away by Howard's gravity.

So yes. The Rockets' poor team defense is Howard's fault.

lol yeah, because you can draw general conclusions from one or two plays.

Hey, brewer scored 8 straight points, he must be better than Jordan.

yup a typical response from someone who has no clue what they're talking about. You can't say anything about it so you have to respond in a way that has nothing to do with what transpired during the play. #itsdwightsfault

Its probably Dwight's fault too that you ride Harden's nuts only

oh look, I just find out Harden-Josh Smith combo is better defensively than Harden-Dwight. That makes 3 of our most used big men doing better on D with Harden. Let's just chalk that up to random outcome.

for someone who doesn't understand basketball of course that wouldn't be random to you. Yet another response that has nothing to do with something you see right in front of your face. It gets no more real factual than that.

You're basing all your stupid logic on some advanced numbers that aren't even in reality true facts but of course with that logic you wouldn't be able to comprehend that.

Player A consistently does better on defense without Player B,

and Player B consistently do better on defense with Player A

but let's just argue that Player A is the problem, because that's #DOFlogic
