De Gea swap deal for Keylor Navas is on the cards. Meh. Better than Sergio Romero so I can't be too disappointed.

Ah...the good old "swaps" fabricated by English tabloids. You hear dozens of em every transfer period, yet I can't remember more than one in history (Eto'o for Ibra) actually happening.

I'm taking this off of Marca, who I thought was reliable in terms of Real Madrid news.

Think we are negotiating terms for Navas. Safe to say he's another Valdes?

Ah okay, but still. These swaps never happen.
Regarding Navas, he's a great keeper and I think he'd be a good #1 for ManU.

Happy with this swap deal. Almost £30m + a decent keeper. Not a bad haul.

I don't think we are done wheeling and dealing. Feel like there's one more move left.

Man Utd have become a circus. What a shame.

Man Utd needs more speed on the wings and a real striker.

Navas is legit keeper.. Top 10 for sure. Great deal for Man U.

In regards to Marca being on point with Madrid news.. not really true. These guys make up stuff all the damn time. Yup, this time they got it right but they spit out so many transfers that one is eventually bound to happen.
Running joke actually.. according to Marca.

Romero's first big mistake this round but he was solid in his endeavor in those previous 3 games...

    had 3 clean sheets

I am not sure about unproven ... Kevin played pretty well for the Belgium national team at the WC and the qualifiers before that.

He just did not get any PT with Chelsea I guess. And he was pretty good at Wolfsburg.

Def stoked to pick him up in the fantasy game.

True, but who really is out there and available that fits the bill.
Man Utd are desperate right now, looks like a very poorly run club at the moment.

What do Man Utd fans think about Woodward's performance?

Arsenal trying to sign Cavani for 60mil.

ManU wanting to activate the Griezmann buyout clause tomorrow, would be around 60-80mil I think.

Oh god. De Gea deal is off and no word from Keylor. Good lord, this is comical to an epic proportion! Can totally see Eddy sitting at his desk with the papers stuck in the printer instead of the fax machine and going, "oh crap..."

Right now it looks like he messed up the De Gea transfer. So right this minute most people think it's hilarious if that stands. Won't be so much fun tomorrow when the window closes and the squad is still unbalanced as hell though. Should be axed asap barring a miracle tomorrow IMO.

Supposedly Navas' contract came back 1 minute after the Spanish window closed. De Gea remains a Red. This is just bizarre.

Rafa Benitez preparing an anti-United speech for tomorrow's presser.

"I only want to talk about the fax."

It's because there is competition, both financially and competitively, in England. There is none in Germany. Bayern have it easy on just about everything compared to English clubs.
