Yeah Otamendi is already in Manchester and terms were agreed to. First reports that Mangala was heading to Valencia on loan were inaccurate.

De Bruyne replacing Navas on the wing would be orgasmic.

Man U too busy chasing pipe dreams while the other powers reload.

Not that difficult to start over Willian. Mourinho also uses Ramires and Cuadrado there, he has no real right-wing atm.

Still time to hijack this deal. Not likely but anything can happen

Just don't want to see him at City. Their attacking 4 will be a nightmare to defend against. I rather see him at Bayern.

I think de Bruyne will stay at Wolfsburg for a year and then join Bayern. At least I hope so.

Thought so for months, but the past weeks and comments changed my opinion. Would definitely like to see him at Bayern though...

De Bruyne wants to come back to the PL and shove it in Mourinho's stupid face. Jesus, what a front 4 that will be. DROOL.

If you are talking about Benzema to Arsenal, it has been going on all summer. It has mostly been twitter rubbish. I have not seen any reliable sources linking him to Arsenal.

The bigger news. IMO, would be Krychowiak to Arsenal. He is being linked there. He has a 30M release clause at Seville and I think Seville would gladly take the 25M profit after just one year. He actually fills a big void as a defensive midfield holder at Arsenal. We saw how important Coq was last game. Once he got the yellow, Arsenal's game-plan changed. Also, Krychowiak would bring some toughness and physicality to their club which it severly lacks.

The biggest obstacle to this transfer?

Wenger, the old stubborn guy who does not like to spend, is convinced that Arteta and Flamini can get the job done. This is the main reason he did not pursue similarly priced Schneiderlin, so it would some breakthrough for him to change his stance now.

Schneiderlin seems like he can run for days, but isn't all too great with the ball. Like a worker bee. Needs a general next to him, which he does have now.

The Germans and the French have always seemed to get along well. ;)

I think Rooney is finished as a striker and should not be played up top. Even he seems to know it as he is constantly drifting back into a facilitator role...only there is nobody to facilitate. It is City or Chelsea unless something crazy happens.

4-4-2 when Sturridge comes back will be glorious.

    The Sun isn't reliable.

We will see though. Maybe I'm still in denial over the fact City might actually get De Bruyne.

I am happy we are holding onto Mangala as he is still young (24) and has shown good chemistry with Kompany in the 1st two matches. It will be interesting to see how the starts at CB are distributed with Otamendi on board. Also moves Demichelis down to 4th on the pecking order at CB, although we have been using him as a defensive mid substitute late in games this season.

I wonder if we could potential move to a 5-1-3-2.

Defense: Kompany, Mangala and Otamendi in the middle and any combo of Zabaleta/Sagna and Kolarov/Clichy out wide.

    Mid: Yaya

Attacking Mid: Sterling, Silva, and possibly De Bruyne

    Striker: Aguero

Pedro to Chelsea out of nowhere. Man Utd have been talking about him all summer.

I don't really like the idea of Yaya sitting there as a holding mid, even with 3 at the back. No reason to shift from the 4-2-3-1.

I would hate for Mangala to lose playing time after looking so good in the first two matches. I do prefer the 4-2-3-1 myself but would be disappointed if Mangala's first team time started to go down.
