i think he's a brazillian rookie. Their fans have high hopes for him, they believe he can take Burke's starting job now that Exum's down. I tuned in now, but I see almost all scrubs. How did the rooks played?
Pretty bad, Randle can't shoot at all and Russell seemed to try too hard. I feel like Russell will be somewhat decent this year though.

I missed the beginning, but pretty meh from what I caught. Russell had a couple of pretty passes -- it's obvious he's still getting used to where guys want the ball. Randle looked sloppy and slightly out of control on offense from what I saw... trying too hard, maybe. Neto was most impressive, IMO, but that could be because I have no idea who he is and had no expectations. Seems like a pretty significant gap between Utah's starters and bench, tho.
Randle's problem is he can't bullyball anymore so it's interesting to see if he can finish in the NBA. Also if he passes or he is tunnel vision. Thanx for the info. The little I watched Burke was horrible again. It's too bad for this kid but he is just not a good nba player. Even as a backup he's not that good. There will definitely be competition over the starting pg job next season.
btw from all the teams I watched so far in preseason they were all horrible lol. The best was probably the hornets. The clippers bench is a disaster. It's so terrible they will need miracle to solve it. That doesn't fix with just more practises. imo.
This is why I don't have particularly high hopes for him. He can't bully defenders at the rim anymore, and his jumper is on a milk carton. Not sure where that gets you in the NBA.

Just watched Toronto, they look very solid defensively, very in sync and Toronto's 2nd unit is laughable. Still, have to give credit to the Raptors. Scola dunked and looked very sharp, Lowry was very quick, awesome to have them back together. A team to watch right there!
