I still miss his professionalism. He couldn't defend, but he was a decent to good rebounder and a consistent scorer at the 4 for us. Luis was at his best in the 2009 playoffs.
Consistent with his game, and tough as nails. One of m favorite Rockets all time. Hell that whole squad was my most favorite Rockets team since the championship years.
He was the best PF we've had in a long time. He made the most out his physical tools and clearly loves basketball. It makes him easy to root for.
I remember Ron artest saying even after he went to the lakers was he had two jerseys hanging in his house. One was Kobe which is understandable and the other was Luis Scola. He said he couldn't believe how he could get 10 rebounds a game but only had a 2" verticale lol. Scola was great new how to play and was a very gifted offensive player. He would be great if he was 10 years younger he perfect for how the game is played now.
That is really great. Say all you will about Artest being cray cray but that guy had heart and knew how to play the game. Nice info, thanks.
